Shaw, Laird, Kolo, Rampe, M. Brown, Broad (Adams, Hartley)
Danger, Pendles, Ablett, Rockliff, Libba, Mills, Parish, Kennedy (Mathieson, Keays, Gresham)
Goldy, Nicnat (Grimley)
Dusty, Barlow, Greene, Wells, McCarthy, Kerridge (Kommer, Tippa)

Obviously all rookies subject to change.
Thoughts? Backline is looking pretty heavy, considering going Laird -> rookie and then Kennedy -> Gray

i dont know what cash you have left but id rather
rampe - rookie
kennedy to gray
im just not sold on rampe at this stage

Bit thin down back with Rich at D3, but try this one on for size.

Shaw - Laird - Rich - Weitering - Brown - Hartley (Collins, Williams)

Danger - Pendles - Ablett - Rocky - Crouch - Libba - Wells - Mills (Mathieson, Dunkley, MacPherson)

Goldy - Gawn (Grimley)

Martin - Wingard - Barlow - DeGoey - Kerridge - Petracca (Adams, Tipungwiti
)

Looks pretty good to me, Like most of your premium selections, I'm still a little unconvinced on Gawn but he will probably be fine. You have 3 mid priced players in your mids which seems a little risky, if you want to strengthen that backline I would consider changing one of Crouch or Wells to a cheaper player and using the extra cash to upgrade rich to a premium defender. :D

It is a little bit to midpricer-y for my taste but I actually like it more than most mid pricer teams that I've seen. This team should score heavily early in the season and the high priced rookie types could still make some decent cash. Still ... if you shift one mid pricer down and one up you might start slightly slower but be a bit stronger at the business end of the season.

Hi all. The volume of decent mid-pricers has really screwed with my usual approach. I've changed my team so many times already that I can no longer tell which way is up. Here's my team as it stands - would someone please give me an objective opinion?

Shaw - Laird - Sheridan - Weitering - M Hartley - K Collins (D Tucker - T Ruggles)

Fyfe - Danger - Ablett - Rockliff - M Duncan - Libba - C Mills - S Kerridge (J Gresham - Mathieson - R Davis)

Goldstein - Martin (Grimley)

Martin - Barlow - A Hall - D Wells - B Kennedy - C Menadue - (L McCarthy - M Brown)

Probably not a good thing but this is extremely close to my team, Weitering/Lonergan Martin/Nic Nat and couple other small differences, think you've nailed your on field rookies in Mid and Fwd, in Def I think you want Brown on field back there despite a poor showing last week Mcdonald tipu for tucker and swap with brown maybe,

intrigued to see what the community think

Yeah, I put Brown on my Fwd bench after Hartley out-pointed him but I know he'll get game time. I know I need Brown as a Cash Cow but wasn't sure about having him on field? Not sure how to rank Brown, Hartley, Collins, Weitering, Tucker, Collins...Broad?

I like him on ground because i think he'll just play a mopping up role down back and knock out scores around 70 consistently, but yeah otherwise it does look a bit of a raffle in defence with the rooks

Just tweaking away over here, couple major changes from previous teams Bartel out for the first time all pre-season and the cash to make him Laird and just feels safer but we will see how Jimmy does today over in Perth, anther change is Hall into the forward line I was hoping to have a high 300K breakout player but none have really presented themselves, Hall has been consistent, and last bigish change was Martin to Lids, I simply think he'll average more than Martin, Martin's de% and clanger count I think will stop him from going much better than 105 despite being his consistent self...
Tempted to try and get Greene & Hall into the same team.

11 definite Keepers, 4 Breakout/Keeper candidates (Sheridan, Lonergan, Libba, Hall) that I think will safely make money worst case, 12 Rookies.

Does feel like it's missing something...

Am I right in thinking this team leaves you with a fair bit of money unspent?

I've got a similar team but somehow I seem to have a disturbingly large amount of money left unspent.

I'd love some feedback on my team, I've always been a fun social supercoacher previously but I want to have a serious crack this year. Thanks guys...

Back: Laird, McGovern, Johannissen, Sheridan, Hartley, Brown ( Collins, Ruggles)

Mids: Danger, Gaz, Shiel, Rocky, Wines, Viney, Libba, Menadue (Gresham, Mathieson, Davis)

Rucks: NicNat, Gawn (Cox)

Forwards: Barlow, Gray, Hall, Menzel, Wells, Kerridge (Grimley, Tipungwuti)

I have $55.5k free and can possibly upgrade NicNat to a Martin or any ruckman other than Goldy... More than happy to hear any criticism you might have

Cheers

Couple too many speculative picks in this team for my taste. I'd be going for 1 (maximum of 2) of JJ, McGov, and Sheridan in the backline. Maybe one of Ollie or Viney in the midfield. And really all of Gawn, Gray, Hall and Menz are a bit speculative. Hoping for three or four of these picks to work seems reasonable. Hoping for eight or nine to come off ...

First draft squad for 2016 boys, rookies interchangeable as the season approaches.

$151,800 left in the bank.

Thoughts?

Thanks!!

I'd be using that 150k, too much cash to leave in the bank. I don't really rate Degoey as a pick this year so personally I'd swap him for maybe Greene or someone like that. If you really like him though then the cash could possibly be used to swap one of your defenders for Shaw, think he'll be head and shoulders above the rest again.

Oliver vs Milera for me at the moment (would just move a mid/fwd rookie)View attachment 246
Pretty nice team. Just need enough of those midfield rookies to get named to make it work. There was some talk that Mathieson might have had his cheek broken for him today. I reckon Mitch Brown could still be an option if need be. I'm pretty sure I read that he had low TOG today so there was some excuse for his poor showing.

58% TOG, started forward too, not interested if he's forward of the ball, if Essendon gets it in their 50, I don't expect it to be in there long

should play back most of the time, they would've just been experimenting... Still don't really think his scoring will be that high though
