Laird. KK been a bit disrupted over the NABs.

Brodie / Stef / Buddy Brodie > Rich NicNat = Stef Bud >>> Gray

Yeah I'm ok with that too. Shiel always seems to get a niggle thru the year but he could be a genuine 110+ kinda guy. Been some good press on him too.

Why not Danger / Selwood? I don't like Sloane getting all the attention with Danger gone plus tough SoS. I actually like Danger / Sidebottom at a similar price.

I've had Laird locked for a while, contradictory to what I just said about the Crows! Just think he's a real solid little player heading into a good stage of his career. Great form in the NABs too.

I had KK in for most of the PS, didn't like his NABs and had a niggle or two. Just not sold on how good the Crows will be minus Danger and with a tough SoS.

    Rookies 2016

I'd try not to panic too much about rookies. Only last year, Touk Miller felt very shaky but ended up being an excellent rookie pick. Oxley was another one who ended up staying in many teams all year. Back in your PS research with your rookies and remember we have two weeks of 'correction...

Don't do it. I'm convincing you.

    Defenders 2016

Not in the sense that all have an excellent scoring history and the Cats have a ripping draw. However Selwood's injuries and Bartel's age + another head knock in NAB 1 have me skipping them for now. Danger has to be locked in to every serious side. I wouldn't talk anyone out of taking all 3 however.

    Strength of Schedule 2016

Cats get a great run all year, Port too. I think this model strengthens the case for Goldy being a must-have. Bulldogs start with 7 straight at the Docklands and Freo get a great run considering they finished 1st after the h & a last year. The model really puts me off Crows (plus no Danger) and...

Brereton and Dunstall struggled playing together there too, even against some not great Sydney teams. Suited the Sydney teams with Lockett then Hall, playing with a bunch of smaller flank / pocket types.

Had some big games there as a Hawk early in his career, before the Hawks started to play Sydney at the Olympic stadium. He's best played there as a deep forward when they clear it out for him. CHF's get lost up the ground at Sydney; the ball just goes over their head on such a small ground. His...

    Strength of Schedule 2016

Analysis of the 2016 fixture, coming in 3 parts... Strength of Schedule (SoS) can be a vital tool to help inform our SC selections. I've used this formula for a couple of years and have found it really helpful for selecting my starting team and trading throughout the season. A couple of...

@doddy2731 Looking at SoS and scoring history I'd take Sidebottom.

    Rucks 2016

Geelong have best SoS in the comp, knocking down to Danger and Jelwood. Not a crazy pick.

    Defenders 2016

Good NAB, role and fixture. A POD for sure, but not a bad one. If that's your one risk, it's a good one to punt on.
