I've seen Harwood mentioned a few times...have I missed something with him?

    Forwards 2016

Lynch 95 today, just off Gunston's average last year. Promising.

    Defenders 2016

Yeah I swung Laird in after NAB 1. I feel like he's the kind of guy I've 'missed' in the past. He's done nothing this PS to convince me he's a bad pick. I like him better than the gaggle of old dudes we could take in def otherwise.

Like him a lot. Rated highly as an underage player, slipped a bit on draft night. Ross took a while to play/trust him. Found his niche at half back last year. I grabbed him as a free-agent in Draft late last season and he was great.

I think he's worth watching. Not a conventional pick, but not a bad one and with the possibility of being very good. Gunston played 22 games @ 96.6 last year, which would've been a good starting fwd pick. I think that's Lynch's upper limit.

    Defenders 2016

Weitering very good today, in a very bad side.

Ryan O'Keefe was a big scorer in that role before he moved into the midfield full-time. I'd assume Gunston may have gone close. Are you weighing up the merits of Tom Lynch by any chance?

De Goey went at 63.1% DE last year. Great contested player tho.

    Rucks 2016

Wasn't he borderline qualifying for the Olympics in the steeple chase? I reckon he'd have them all covered easily!

    Rookies 2016

@Prospector Im pretty sure there were draft experts who (separately) had both Hopper and Kennedy as their highest rated players in last year's draft. Pretty scary list the Giants are building!

    Midfield 2016

Maybe Gold Coast should've stuck with 'The Weapon' as their fitness guy. They just can't seem to keep their guys fit. No Swallow, Prestia or Jaeger to start the year.

    Rucks 2016

Like when the sub came in, there will be a feeling out stage. Some clubs will take a look at a more traditional two-ruck setup, others will stick to a ruck and a fwd/ruck. I think the safest ploy will be to go with a Goldy/Sauce type setup - costly, but at least you know that they'll ruck a very...

    Rookies 2016

I like Ellis too @Dino . Not so sure on whether B.Scott will play a rookie early, but I reckon you'd have a better feel on that than I. Clarke definitely showed a bit. Howe is a real chance for early game time at the Hawks. He was drafted as an 'overage' u/18 player before last season, so is...

    Rookies 2016

Mills was a (very) clear-cut favorite to go pick 1 in his 17 year old season. He missed most of last year due to injury (some questioned whether Sydney were posturing so they wouldn't have to give up so much for him) but still went at pick 3 under the new system. Sounds like he's off to a great...

    Rucks 2016

I envisage the Cats playing one of Stanley / Smith as first ruck, one of Vardy / Clark as a key fwd / some (not much) ruck plus Blicavs as a mid / ruck / key position floater. He had some dominate games ruck-roving to Stanley last year, matching up on Pendles amongst others.

Ripping format, fun season. Good to feel 'in it' till late in the season. C'ing DJ over Randle a few weeks ago killed my cash-winning chances, but little else went wrong. Great to see the league bounce back to its glory days. 14th overall / 12th for the cash.

    Rucks 2016

Sam Day and Rory Thompson have played some back-up ruck in the past. Both you'd expect to be best 22 - Day at CHF and Thompson at CHB. Wright is a great prospect too and will certainly get some run throughout the year.
