So last year was the first year of the new HTA rule, right? Which means we haven't seen Ryder play with the 5 points for HTA but nothing if the hit out wasn't to advantage. So question without notice - does anyone know how we can find out how he rates for HTA percentage ?

I reckon you can make a case for him. Not sure I've got the courage / craziness to try it. I was trying to compare him to Grundy at their relative prices. Grundy obviously has consistency on his side but I'm not that keen on paying 520K for a ruck who has never posted a score higher than SC127...

Vlastuin play mid resting forward in the Richmond intraclub yesterday and kicked two goals according to the track watchers. Big ask for him to be SC relevant given how stacked the backline is with options this year but I'll still keep an eye on him in the preseason games.

What do you think Thurlow has to average to be a good buy at $267K?

Fifteen keepers plus Swallow!? Or 14 keepersand two stepping stones depending how you class Roughy. Impressive. I've also got Ryder at R2 at the moment. And I like the primos you've chosen. I myself am going against Heeney and Docherty but you can certainly make a case for both of them as good...

Also if used as a stepping stone their yearly average won't necessarily reflect the maximum price they reach. Might only average 90 if you look at the whole year but if they string a couple of good games together could be priced at over 100 the week you trade them out. Or not.

Spot on. Two across all lines would be an absolute maximum for stepping stone types I'd think.

At 318K? Yeah I'd think so as long as he doesn't get injured. Swallow is only slightly cheaper than that and that is about what I'm hoping for from him. If he averages 90-100 it probably just takes one good week to push him over the 500K price point. That is about 200K profit and you be well...

Answering my own question here. I had a bit of a scout round on a few forums and sounds like Heppell might be getting over a bit of flu.

I hear that Roughy looked good in the first Intraclub. Great for him and for Hawks fans obviously ... but if keeps going well he is going to severely test my resolve not to start too many midpricers.

That is a big surprise ... I wonder what the story is? Donkey was just taking him up on the podcast too ...

So far the only midpricers to get near my team have been Swallow and Sandi and I've since flicked Sandi given his calf ... but two intraclub matches into the season and there are reports of Jaeger kicking three goals from the midfield and all of a sudden I feel that strange midpricery feeling...
