    2017 Injuries

I can hardly believe I'm callous enough to post this but ... CEY is going to be really cheap next year.

    2017 Injuries

That is increadibly harsh luck for CEY after knocking on the door all last season.

    2017 Team Structure

Currently: 2/0/6 5/2/4 2/0/1 3/1/4 Feels like I currently have a midpricer too many and a primo not enough. I also think I might need to reduce my exposure to players with significant injury histories because I have more that a couple at the moment.

    2017 Backline Primos

I'm not banking on any more midfield minutes. He seems so valuable to the crows in his current role why would they mess with it? (I know he's been rumoured to get more midfield minutes but so was Brodie Smith a couple of years ago). I'm picking him and I'll count it as a win if he doesn't drop...

    2017 Forward Midpricers

I haven't seen it confirmed but I'm pretty sure CEY hurt himself early in the game - returned after some treatment and was poor. I'm not taking him but that game might not be a true indication...

    2017 Backline Primos

Correct. But I still like him as a pick in spite of this ... but of course now everyone will be jumping on him now.

    2017 Midfield Midpricers

I'm going to have to watch the first half on replay because I missed it but but he and Roughy are looking very hard to ignore. Can you take Swallow and O'Mera? Makes the side look very unbalanced ... either I leave out a rookie and I start to worry about cash generation or I leave out a primo...

    2017 Forward Primos

Had him locked since my first draft and saw nothing to change that last night. I was actually worried that his ownership would double after last nights game but if people are talking him down then that makes me happy.

    2017 Forward Midpricers

Don't know if you could have him in SC but that was a very encouraging showing from the point of view of a Tiges supporter.

    2017 Forward Midpricers

You couldn't have him could you? Second year player and he was a very slow burn in his first year. I think I might have ended up trading him out last year before he made any money.

    2017 Forward Midpricers

I didn't watch a heap of last night but the bits I did watch Chad looked a bit uninspiring ... the again he scored About SC100 while looking uninspiring so that is probably not too bad a sign.

Article on the AFL website states Zac Clark out for 1/2 a year but also says the Dockers are expecting to welcome Sandi back during the JTL series: http://m.afl.com.au/news/2017-02-23/freo-ruckman-zac-clarke-ruled-out-until-second-half-of-season If Sandi gets through a preseason game unscathed...

    2017 Forward Primos

I agree Dollhouse is the clear first choice but the DT/SC ratio and handball to kick ratios don't put me off Macrae. As a young midfielder available in the forward line I think he's still a strong pick despite these factors. What is the bottom end of what you think he'll average (as long as he...

    2017 Forward Primos

I'm tempted but sharing a bye round with Dollhouse and McCrae makes him a bit tricky.

Nick Riewoldt had ice on his right shin or calf in the last quarter of the Port v Saints game.

    2017 Ruck Cover

I only watched about one quarter of the Port v Saints game tonight but Lobbe seemed to be doing all of the rucking for Port and was actually looking quite good ... reports of his demise may have been a bit premature ... will be interesting to see how this plays out from the Ryder point of view.

    2017 Backline Primos

I've given him some thought and he makes some appeal due to the reasons outlined above. The "only one good year so far" factor is slightly off putting and his bye round doesn't work too well with the other backline primos I've already set my heart on ... but he is one of the 3-4 backline primos...

    2017 Backline Primos

Knowing the was the last couple of season have gone a couple of them will probably have been injury trades prior to R12 anyway.

 Oops. I thought my bye structure was balanced but these are my three backline primos ... back to the drawing board.
