Corey Ellis named in the centre square and Menadue on the bench. Tempted to take the punt on Ellis, only $193k and was a high draft pick so must have a bit of talent. Thoughts?

Interesting listening to Nick Maxwell (backline coach at GWS) saying he'd pick Devon Smith over Greene in Fantasy.

    SC Scoring System

I don't subscribe either but I discovered a little hack, I follow them on Twitter and if you click on a link to an article there it seems to load even though you're not a subscriber. Not sure if it'll work for everyone, but working well for me. That's using Chrome on a PC if it doesn't work...

Baguley V McGovern V Johanissen ?? Love McGovern and think McKenzie will free him from the lock down roles. Will average more than 2015 and might be top 10 if an arm doesn't fall off. Baguley is primed for a break-out and the ball will be in his half an awful lot, especially if the Bombers...

    SC Scoring System

Thought this was interesting from the Hun today and worth a look: Champion Data, which records the stats that power SuperCoach, reveals the most important stats that make up the scoring system. GOALS It is no great surprise that the main avenue to SuperCoach scoring is through kicking a goal...

I like the blokes with good job security. Wright could push a good 65-70 average this year. A bag of goals against the Bombers or Blues in the opening rounds would be nice too :D

Alright, I'll post mine too. Made some reshuffling with Libba/Harwood leaving and Fyfe/Johanissen coming in. I'm pretty happy with how it's looking I think.

I want him in. There's too many options to get him on the field though and at the moment he's sitting on my bench along with Menadue. Ultimately they might have to make way for cheaper rookies if they're staying on the bench.

Depends on your perspective I guess. Personally I see them only winning half of those games with Crows, Giants, Cats and Tigers all good chances to beat them. Saints have a habit of picking off early wins too and Lions won't be easybeats this year, although both at home so you'd probably give...

I'm not keen on Gray at all. I do want to get another $400k+ guy in my forward line, but can't decide. I have Barlow and Hall. Greene was in there for a while but interest had faded. Bennell and Christensen are interesting. But, I think I might go with Robinson... Thoughts??

Thanks for that. I was considering starting him if he was going to come in round 2 or 3. Much easier to bring him in mid-season as a downgrade target. Sucks for Melbourne though :(

I'd advise caution on Gaff. He averaged 29 disposals last year - he won't improve on that. He's an outside uncontested player who doesn't hit the scoreboard, get contested possessions or lay tackles. He basically runs up and down one wing all day providing link up play. He averaged 103 last...

If you're going to pick Leuy then do it in the forward line. That way there's options if it doesn't work out. In the ruck line you've got nowhere to go as happened to plenty of people with TBC last year. I don't mind the pick actually and had him in my forward line for a long time. I just...

I can't pick Jelwood this year. 10 scores of 90 or under in 2015. He'll still cop heavy tags and doesn't seem like he can work through them anymore like he once could. Still good for a 105 or even 110 average, but can't see him doing 115 or 120 this year.

    Rucks 2016

Can I ask those considering Smith why they're not considering Nicholls at the same price instead? Nicholls is clearly #1 ruck and will likely spend 80% of his time in the ruck. Arguably, at full-strength Nicholls has a better midfield to hit down to. Nicholls only had one sub-70 score last...

    Rucks 2016

So you wouldn't have picked Stefan Martin last year then? I didn't and it cost me big. Based on that you must be going with Goldy and NicNat I assume? I'd like to do that but think Gawn (and NicNat) can get close enough to Goldy this year to justify spending a lot less. I'd like to grab...

I think Hall has shown he's damaging enough to be in the midfield permanently, even when they're at full-strength. Swallow and O'Meara are more outside users. Ablett will start to move out of the midfield more and more with time. Prestia and Lonergan are the strong bodies and clearance...

    Defenders 2016

Cutler not a bad option, but depends on his role. You'd think there's plenty of users out of defence for the Lions and he'll play a lockdown role quite often once the real stuff starts. He's probably the guy who'll go to a dangerous small forward. Might be a few 40's thrown in with his 90's...

    Midfield 2016

It's a no-brainer for me at that price. He's capable of a 100 average this year and at some stage in his career will be well over 110. Worst thing that happens is he gets injured in the opening couple of rounds and I trade him down to someone like Oliver or another rookie who pops up and bank...
