Grimley looks like he'll play consistently. Even if Leuy is fit, he'll be in the forward line you'd expect as there's not really many other options. Michael is an interesting one. Looks good if Leuy is out, but you'd think if Leuy is fit then he'll miss out. On the subject of Leuy...

Agree 100%. I'll still betting against him though

You definitely don't want to get him confused with Tenzel....

Dusty for sure. Deledio and Montagna probably. Gunston and Dahlhaus should. Higgins will. That's 6 already. Then add in guys like Zorko, Zerrett, Bennell, Wingard, Rioli, Robinson who are good chances to go 100+. Then there's guys further down like Lynch (both of them), Bell, Tippett...

I'm far from convinced on Barlow. Think he'll struggle to average more than 95. Even if he gets up to 100 that may not be enough to put him in the top 6 forwards. I think I can use the money better elsewhere. I plan to have 2 keepers in the forwards - Dusty and Zerrett. I've stacked the...

Steve, I think you're looking at AF stats and not SC stats. Stef is clearly an AF gun while Gawn is more of a SC beast. If you change it to SC stats: 2015 stats: Martin : 20 games, 6 scores over 120 (30% of games), 11 games over 100 (55%), 1 scores of 76 or under from 20 games (5%). Gawn: 13...

Welcome Zerrett to the Railriders. Was initially hesitant but I'm now convinced. Forward line at present: Dusty, Zerrett, Denzel, Wells, Bennedy, Kerridge with Menadue and McCarthy on the pine. McCarthy I'm still not convinced on JS so might end up being a R/F swingman (e.g. Cox/Grimley)...

    X v. Y

I don't know enough about Parish to speculate tbh, but I'm hesitant to pick any first-year player this year. In fact, I have none in my side currently and none of them interest me at this stage. With no sub rule, there's no option to red or green vest these guys. Coaches will need to be...

Interesting to look at Christensen. He's perceived as an "outside" player, but he's actually a gun inside-midfielder and clearance player. He played 4 games where he got more than 4 clearances last year, so presume he played as a midfielder in those games. In those games he scored 177, 100...

    Rucks 2016

My concern with Stef (in SC that is) is his ceiling. I don't think his scoring can go higher that it is due to efficiency concerns. A lot of his score comes from marks rather than his ruckwork - his disposal efficiency is poor at around 65%. With the Brisbane midfield back to full-strength...

Heard that rumour, but why would they put/leave him out there if he had an injury? If he does have an injury excuse, that's also a good reason to stay clear of him.

Gee Quadzilla was bad yesterday. 38 SC points from 67% game time. I know he didn't look to be trying, but if you're going to be uber-premium you should be racking up 80-90 when you're not trying. Was considering him but can't pick him as someone to make the jump from premium to uber-premium...

Port play the Tigers in the last week. Hopefully they rest Maric and Lobbe scores well and sucks a few more people in.

I'd be keen if there's still open spots.

I reckon Gawn can average 110 this year. Maybe even push up to 115. Supposedly worked hard on his fitness after Goldy worked him over at the end of last year. 24yo so hitting his prime as a big bloke. I'd certainly take him over Sauce who'll average under 110, maybe even under 105. Mummy...

Have never considered him myself, but is anyone still considering Lobbe? Monstered by Gawn in the ruck contests today. More importantly, just 6 touches and no marks so didn't do a lot around the ground. Not terrible but doesn't look good from a SC prospective.

    Forwards 2016

I had a few on my watchlist that I was considering, and boy did they jump up that list last night. McCarthy, DeGoey, Menzel and Cockatoo all impressive and look value. There was no defence last night, so taking the forward scores with a grain of salt. But they did themselves no harm...

    Rookies 2016

Agree Rupert. They certainly didn't show enough last night to say they're going to be an exception. Maybe 3-6 games but that's it, especially if the Giants are pushing towards finals. The dilemma for the Giants is whether these guys will learn much in the NEAFL? I suspect that's a big factor...

Someone to sit on the bench for the first 12 rounds and only play 1 game while everyone else makes cash and then trades him in after round 12 for the same price anyway? Regardless of how he plays NAB, I wouldn't trust his JS at the Tigers.
