I think that's the appeal for Blitz. Having a pure midfielder at R2 is bloody tempting. At this stage I'm going with Set and Forget too with Goldy and Stef. There's more than enough value on every other line to allow me to splash out on rucks. I'm not happy about seeing Leuys ownership go down...

The thing with Hartung is his price. In the same range (excluding Libba) you have Crouch, JOM, and Polec. Assuming you go with 3 elites, Rocky and Libba, I'm not sure you can have more than one of those 300k guys on the park as that takes you down to M7 and you end up completely sacrificing at...

He will be a massive POD. Last year with Higgins showed that a guy can burn you over and over again but when they are fit, they're worth the risk. I think you could only take one of him or Wells up forward though. Risk is one thing. Outright stupidity is another altogether.

This is spot on. Blitz will only ruck as a 3rd man up or if others are injured. Stanley and Smith won't fit in the same team assuming all of Clark, Vardy and Blicavs are best 22. A lot of risk involved in picking any of these guys tbh.

Broad seems to be this year's Kmac. Fingers crossed. Menegola won't play AFL unless a whole heap of mids get injured. There's a lot of guys in front of him for a spot in that midfield.

Isn't there an element of risk with everyone we pick though? I can definitely see him finishing at a top 6 forward. He could also average 80, play 10 games and completely ruin the side.

Being a Cats man, I love menzel... But at 260k he is not coming anywhere near my side. As mentioned, there's 4 or 5 guys similarly priced or cheaper who are a lot less risky with the same potential. As for troy, I read yesterday something mentioning that he has "a lot of work to do" if he wants...
