Rocky to Merrett, can't say i'm sold on this trade BUT I really liked Merrett pre-season was just scoring potential in a losing side that was the main worry for me, I knew he'd improve playing mainly midfield & that he had the class to make the most of his disposals, obviously he can't keep up 120+ but what do people think of 100-105? that's a top 6 forward I reckon.

I like the idea of getting a genuine FWD premo in for Rocky, Martin or Zorko other options.

Yeah this is where I'm at now. I've cooled on Rocky to JJ and would rather get a Fwd/mid keeper to flick forward when the time comes. Merrett and Dusty are my options. Zorko may well turn out a top 6-8 forward but I think he's at his top price. Dusty probably is too but he's more likely to be a top 2-3 forward than Zorko.

I would go with option one Gresham will get another game and make u cash and Fyfe will be top 3 mid in my opinion but if u cold hold off for a week Fyfe will be cheaper next week

FWIW Exactly my situation and with Gresham dropped in looking at Gresh to Pap via Menadue and Rocky to Gray

Tough to pick between those two trades. I think that I would move on Gresham since he's not getting a game and who knows when or if he will be back soon.

Just going Simpkin to Papley. Decided to hold on to Barlow and Rockliff at this stage mainly to be conservative with trades.

Trading out of issues early last year when Ablett, Rockliff and Deledio burnt me in Round 1 has me wary of using too many trades early. I guess there was no way else around it last year but that's why I'm prepared to look at holding off this year when Barlow doesn't have to be traded due to injury and Rockliff may be able to return with respectable enough scores until he's ready to rip it later on in the year.

After lots of different ideas. I am going to keep Barlow for another few weeks.

The most I can lose is $60,000 but save a trade and if he keeps his averages agains the up coming teams he should start to score well.

If not I trade him.

A $240k Wells is someone I'd have a very hard time betting against.

I'd do both trades in a hearbeat.

Any love for Rocky to Ward? Probably prefer R. Gray, but don't quite have the cash. Parker is over hyped (comparisons to Danger and Fyfe in some circles), but at the good price I can understand the enthusiasm.

At some point he will probably have to be rested or that hamstring will go, but for now, he is just too delicious (inner Bruce). Needed, simple.

Rocky, Wingard and now Crouch out and already have a season long loophole in the ruck. Really wanted RGrey for Rockliff but $2,500 short after going Gresh to Papley.

Should I hold Rocky and maybe downgrade someone like Dea to Hartley next week and move Rocky into a Fyfe or use the trade this week and go with Parker or Mitchell (many in my league have Mitchell so not as keen to jump on him)

All this means I really have no way to move on Barlow unless I went the massive downgrade to Papley & keep Gresh, moving Rocky onto anyone

only in 2% of teams!

averages 122 in his last 5 games last year and ave 130 in his first 2 now so thats a run of 7. He ave 104.5 last year but that had 2 sub effected games which we dont have this year so it can be argued to remove those scores for a true reflectio which puts him at 112 for 2015.

If a 2% owned player can go at 110 for the year its a success and i reckon he can go 115 which if that happens he would almost set up your year!
Buyer beware though as the sydney mids do tend to share points around.
