Z Smith owners will be happy with his score this week but to think he had 80 plus at 1/2 time on the back of those 3 goals, but only finished on 100 in a team that ran away in the last quarter says a lot.
His ownership will increase this week but tread carefully, he will not kick 3 snags each week.

Smith looked great early but did disappear in the 2nd half. Stanley did most of the ruck work and Smith spent a lot of time forward which hos heat map confirms. Interesting to see what happens going forward.

As for NicNat, not surprised to see him score well against Martin who isn't that great in the ruck contests.

Never spent that much cash straight up on my Rucks but after much agonising my Goldy/Nic Nat combo is feeling pretty good right now. Here's hoping it lasts. If Goldy is the Gary Ablett of Rucks then surely Nic Nat is the Cyril!!

Does anybody think Currie could genuinely take #1 ruck duties from Nicholls? When Z.Smith wasn't playing Nicholls still didn't get THAT many hitouts, mostly low 20s, Currie on the other hand is a more mature ruck playing under Goldy and is actually bloody good at what he does.

Is this Currie's chance? Or is this just Nicholls being rested because Eade said he'd rest important/injury prone players every 6 weeks or something?

Currie killed it in the NEAFL before moving to North but i dont see him getting quality game time. It is his to grab and he might hold off Nicholls if he performs well but if anything, they might play both next week with may out

Maybe.... but I'm not 100% convinced on Stef. He's not getting the same numbers around the ground as he has the last couple of years. It's possible he may be showing his age in that regard - the big guys can decline quite quickly - you only need to look at Maric and Minson who are only slightly older than Stef and really lost that part of their game by the time they hit 30yo. Stef has never dominated in ruck contests either, so SC scoring relies heavily on his ability around the ground.

He couldn't even ton-up against Grundy on the weekend and hasn't hit 120 yet this year. I'd want to see a good 3-week block averaging 120+ before I picked Stefan as comparable with the top 3 rucks. If you're stuck with a mid-pricer he is cheap and worth a gamble, but I wouldn't pick as a real top-liner on what he's shown to date this year.

Reading a lot about donuts here and in trades, am i assuming Cox is not selected much here or is it because hes in the fwd and no mpp in ruck?
I have had him at R3 since picking him up hoping he's still playing r14 and 15 as cover for goldy and gawn.

I think its because not many have him. I got him in. Knew he wouldn't set the world on fire, but hoping he would make about 150K and provide some cover at least. Ticked all the boxes so far.
