Heard similar but not sure there’s much too it. Knee knock and played out the game. Not sure with the scores the way they were they would’ve put him back on. Will have to wait and see though.
Yeah ignore that sorry, I read a bogus report on twitter. I'll be sitting pat this week

Kicking myself for being sucked into Callum Mills, I'll hold him another week but can see myself trading him to Newman next week.

Managed to avoid Collins so I haven't got that problem to worry about. Burgess is top of my list for rookie corrections next week, will be keeping an eye on WIlkie & Joyce from the Saints this week as replacements if he fails again. I've also got Balta but his JS isn't actually too bad and I see his scoring improving.

After round 2 if Collins $#@!s the bed again what are peoples thoughts on Ballard or H.Taylor? Pods…

Not sure what trading for these guys will exactly do for your team mate. Collins has just been confirmed as out this weekend so I'd trade him for a fellow rookie if considering to move him on. Wilkie is the one I like down back I chucked him in at the last minute on the weekend, played a good game last week and the Saints are screaming for young talent to come through so will get games and make you abit of cash to upgrade down the track.

I think a few people here are ready to panic trade off just 1 score. A few players I assume a few are looking at trading in have a team mate coming back in soon that could impact their scoring.
Rocky - Wines
Sheed - Gaff
Worpel - Wingard (and maybe Scully in a few weeks)
Coniglio - Kelly (and Ward a couple of weeks later)

I can see Coniglio being a great option based on his history, but the other 3 surely is a large risk, perhaps an unnecessary one, especially before round 2 with all trades based on very limited data. Congrats if you started with them though, but I don't think it's worth the risk and cost to use a precious trade before round 2 starts. I don't even think it's worth trading out Collins this week unless you have really bad issues (eg injuries/non playing/no bench cover).

I think cash generation could be a little tougher than usual this year with there appearing to be not so many great rookie options at this stage and throughout the season to target, burning trades now likely isn't going to help you in 12-22 weeks time.

Balta has been dropped. Given I have most of the good FWD rookies is it worth doing a correction trade? (Went Balta instead of Parker but I've got Setterfield, Drew & Petruccelle).

Trade Drew in this week (for Balta) or wait? I'm inclined to hold but if Balta is out already on Thursday it may tempt me to click trade now.

Think I'm erring on doing this and then trading out Collins next week for whomever of Wilkie/Joyce looks a lock.

Gibbons a cheap as chips slow burn, one 60 or 70 score after rd4 and that'll make him moo nicely so fine just sticking with him. Atkins is someone I'm worried will be dropped, not sure who I'd pick to replace him but can kick that can to next week too.

Prems are prems, you don't trade them out and if anyone deserves an albatross necklace for choosing Gawn/Grundy after being against it all pre-season it's me.

Whispers are Jack Darling is missing a minimum 4 weeks so my hand looks to be forced. Considering Worpel, thought he was a trap and he would be playing more forward than mid but by the looks of it he is firmly entrenched in that midfield and his game suits SC scoring!

Interesting!!
I had set before seeing this Darling to Parker and Gibbons to Rocky.
Actually would like to see Darling out as makes it easier.

My inclination atm is to hold - think he may get another go next week when the opposition height may be more conducive to his selection.

Dusty is on very thin ice. Wasn't great last week and junked up to a ton. I know Greenwood is a SC killer but still... I don't think he's a top 8 mid.

0 tackles in 2 weeks should be making coaches very nervous too.
Also worth noting, an idea floated on Twitter this morning. If Riewoldt misses substantial time with his wrist injury, Dusty will most probably spend more time forward.

If Rocky looks good again this week, I'm jumping on the train.

I notice that Melb have named Lockhart. $103k Rookie DEF/MID. If scores / job security is ok then he could be a good downgrade target in a couple of weeks if Ridley (or other mid/rookie defenders) don't work out. Dual position is a bonus too.
