Can I assume no-one else can get the site to update the team/league rankings?
The RCUK site doesn't have these problems.
I've scored less in the RCUK comp but I'm ranked higher 123 v 167. Top teams have scored about the same in both: 1,520-odd.

Yeah nothing updating but the mobile site is now back. If you click on individual teams it tells you and updated score - but that's a bit useless.

Actually, you're right. It was Phil Liggett and those old Sizzler ads that attracted you back in the day.

I reckon the Alpecin ads last year were pretty good.

I wonder if anyone has archived the Alpecin commercials. There was one with a crazy voiceover of Degenkolb!

There are some serious problems with that site. My points have gone backwards (about half of what I should be on) and I am now ranked 149. That is surely an error.

What a finish to stage 4!

Gee Andre Greipel just doesn't seem to have the power at the finish this season. Was in a great position with 500m to go but didn't move quickly enough then couldn't bridge the gap.

Kristoff's lead out man faded 100m too early.

I'm glad that Greipel didn't figure. He's not in my team. I sacrificed him to get Stuyven and to get Stuyven i had to change Greipel to Kristoff. So that move paid off and it will pay off more if Stuyven stays in the KOM jersey tomorrow.

Disappointed Laporte wasn't up there but glad I got 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 7th, 8th, 11th

Now tomorrow is interesting. I only have 2 trades left. There's only 1 sprint stage left on Thursday. There's a tough stage tomorrow but should be won by a Sagan/Alaphillipe type. Friday's stage is for the GC guys. I miscalculated and thought it was a sprint stage.

So hopefully me scoring points a lot the last two days, as well as Thursday is good enough that I don't lose too much ground on Friday.

I think I should take out Kristoff for a GC rider/Alaphillipe. Then on Friday, I bring in another GC rider for a sprinter. That's my only play.

There's also a slight possibility of the break taking the stage tomorrow and Friday too.

Hard to know if it's worth bringing one or two possibilities in tonight. Given that the climb is late, I'm wondering if anyone will try to make a break early or if they wait until the climb.

Costa, Barguill or Bardet could be potential contenders, but not sure of their GC standings and whether the main contenders will allow them much freedom. Same with someone like Rodriguez.

Alaphillipe and D.Martin could go alright. If, for some reason, the sprinters are still in it late, then Sagan and Matthews might rate a decent chance as well as Boasson-Hagen.

Alaphillipe has been top 20 in all sprint stages so if you bring him in you can be confident he scores points tomorrow anyway.

But, there is a chance the break might make it tonight. Ettix may chase for Alaphillipe to get him in yellow but Tinkoff won't chase. Movistar and Sky have said they won't ride that hard today.

Think i may sit on my hands today as i've been scoring consistently with what i have.
Happy with where i'm at for my second crack and not knowing a darn thing about this sport.

I'm ranked just behind @Grater and just ahead of you - 1026 points and 124th. Really tight around the 1025 -1030 mark, isn't it?
Quite happy with that as I have enough transfers left to repeat the stage 2 tactic: 2 sprinters out for 2 x stage 5 favourites, then reverse the trades for the stage 6 sprint.
But I'm not sure.
I'll bring in Alaphilipe and Dan Martin - that's certain.
But do I want to trade the sprinters back in or leave a transfer for stage 7?
Of course, if either Alaphillipe or Martin win stage 5 it's likely they'll get the yellow jersey and I'll keep them.

Notice Orica is leading the teams classification? Matthews, Gerrans and Yates all in the top 20.
