Really? One vote cheaper player, one vote DPP. What is their JS though? Mullet out helps EVW's JS

Scores this year

EVW 51, 58, 35
Berry 32, 29, 14, 62, 60
McNiece 61, 48
Melican 68, 54, 67
Cox 37, 23
With Beams and Robinson injured only does favours to cement Berry in the side. He's been name with the mentioned fellas in the side, you couldn't see that changing with them out.
Yes his first couple weren't great but he really seems to be settled now and playing ok.
And yes, that DPP could be handy.

The fact that Berry had 3 very ordinary games, kept his spot and now has moved into a more on all role is a good sign. Definitely considering.

Also looking at Swallow to Yeo with the view to flick him forward during the byes. He looks a lock for a top 6 forward now. Which means as soon as I bring him in he will average 75!

Thoughts on Buddy at $467k? Few suggesting him but before his 160 he'd pumped out 4 consecutive scores between 70-82. His stats don't look that bad in those games either - 15+ touches, 7 marks, multiple goals, generally good DE% (one exception) - yet his SC scores are ordinary. Even round 2 he got 22 touches, 11 marks, 4 goals 3 behinds yet only just managed to crack the ton. Hasn't averaged over 100 since 2012 and last year was the first time he's played 20 games since 2009.

Based on all of that I just can't do it, despite his tempting price. Does anyone disagree and think he's a great option?

My trades this week:

Hampton - Llyod
Otten - Shaw

Can just afford it and with not a standout downgrade this week, thinking that's the best option.

As far Buddy goes, Sydney are bound to win more games in the next few weeks and with that should come some decent score out of him. I already have him but I didn't and had to choose between Buddy or Heeney, reckon I'd go Heeney, better bet to average more, except if the glandular fever becomes an issue....

I've missed a lot of the selection carnage so far... But if Selwood and Treloar are out, Pendles plays half a game and Swallow is already missing, my light benches will have no chance to cover so many holes.

If Trelor misses I'm thinking of turning him into Danger. Better for bye structure and hopefully good value on Danger

Do people think both Otten and Hampton should go this week so they don't lose money?

I am more inclined to trade Hampton before Otten. Hampton just doesn't have the same scoring consistency Otten does. I have faith that Otten will still score well and not lose too much money. Hampton on the other hand........

The only guys i'm looking to trade in my backs are Adams & Roberton to go with Docherty, Laird, Shaw and maybe ZJones as my back 6.

Doesn't matter if i trade Otten or Hampton, i can't afford either Adams or Roberton with just 1 trade.

I have been going over and over in my head about what trade to do this weekend.

Currently i am only starting 1 of Otten or Hampton on the field. So i am going to trade both of them out. Why? because if they both score 100, they only go up $5k each. Hampton will then have a 29 Be, Otten 50.

Currently have 17, 21, 17 players playing during the bye. Getting Adams and Berry in for Otten and Hampton improves my byes to 17, 21, 18 players playing

Anxious about team lists this week. Was planning a double-upgrade with Heeney and Adams coming in for Otten and Hannan.

Was planning to ride this week out with Fisher, Beams and Swallow on the midfield bench. But also have Treloar and Jelwood who seem to be in doubt. If things turn out badly I could be staring at 2 donuts and having to completely rejig my trade plans

Glad I'm not the only one with this thought process. If he misses I will go Treloar > Yeo, better bye structure and will just flick him fwd after the byes

Going down in flames. If Treloar misses and with doubt over Pendles, it gives me fair reason to ditch Treloar.

Treloar to Yeo
Swallow to Rocky

trades options this week; $142k in bank
1. Otten to Shaw
2. Hampton to Hibberd

I would much rather Shaw moving forward, but i also would rather ditch Hampton before Otten.
Would love to hear some thoughts

cheers

Yeh I'm hoping Treloar misses now. That way I can get rid of him, yes I've lost cash and points but he's frustrating

Fisher has saved me from a donut, whether he's much better than one remains to be seen. .

Turns out Parsons might have been the right choice despite his 19. Black dropped and Parsons survives.

Thats a tough one. Your lucky to have a full squad. I'd say Beams for cheap prem (thinkin dusty). And i suppose a downgrade in def....
