Thinking about bringing in Jack Steven for Petracca but would mean benching/looping Shiel, Crouch or T. Mitchell. Not sure it's worth it for not that many points on field and likely hood whoever i bench will go huge.

That history suggest to me his form is off - I don't think Jack goes big again in any hurry ... I have him in RDT and his form since the byes is not great ...

Looking for some advice. I have 5 trades left and $68k, going for league win.

My team currently:
DEF: Shaw, Boyd, Simpson, Laird, Bartel, Rance (Broad, Tucker)
MID: Hannebery, Danger, Pendlebury, Ward, J.Selwood, Priddis, S.Mitchell, Parker (Trengove, Macpherson, Mathieson)
RUC: Goldy, Gawn (Loersche)
FWD: Martin, Buddy, Montagna, Greene, Wells, Z.Merrett (Rose, Phillips)

Worried about Bartel's form and also Wells. This week I'm thinking;

Mathieson --> cheapest option $102k
Bartel --> Docherty

This leaves me with 3 trades and $177k to upgrade people for the GF (if I make it!).

What do people think?

@Dash Thompson, Bartel and Rich seem to be your weak links. Not sure you will be able to upgrade all of them. Thompson has a great record against Port (140 avg last 3). I would look at either Bartel or Rich and upgrade to an elite promo. Docherty is my choice. This would allow you to keep 2 trades for next week unless you feel you need to use 2 this week.

@Bozman 5 trades gives you some decent options. I like your planned trades. Bartel is gone for me this week also. Wells has an ok record against Swans (110avg last 3).

For what it's worth Docherty should be a no brainer. My smokey from the beginning showing the form that i expected.

Motlop and Wells rotating through M8. My team has been full premo for 6 weeks and is averaging 2290 in that time. My worst season in 6 years. If I can get back inside 10k (11500 atm) then that's a small consolation.

I've spent my last trade going Delidio to Houli via DPP and Bartel to midfield bench.

Could have gone a few other back line options but I wanted a point of difference against my opponent this week (ranked 47 overall) and Houli can go big on his day.

He had a shocker a few weeks ago but given his record against WCE and the Pies I thought that at 400k it was pretty much a free hit. My bad!
