Well ladies n gentlemen in the space of 3 hrs my season has come crashing down. Gibson last night, Franklin, Rance, Ward.

It's all over already. Forget mad Monday I'm starting now. Mad Saturday thru Thursday coming up.

Ok so yeah I was a tad emotional early Saturday!!! Pleased to say I won 4/7 leagues in the end!!We're 3 rounds inmate, you've got some catching up to do!

Mid: Danger, Pendles, Hanners, Parker, Neale, Bont, Ward, Priddis, (Petracca, Mathieson, Trengove)
Ruc: Gawn, Goldy, (Wyatt)
Fwd: Dusty, Montagna, Zorko, Franklin, Lyons, Hall, (Silvagni, Phillips)
Only 4 PODs between us, mine highlighted in bold
His: Enright, Zerret, Selwood, Dahl
My idea to combat him is:
Trade: Gibson -> Johannisen
Franklin -> Zerrett
Still leaves 4 PODS but it strengthens my team.
Captain options crucial. Tossing up between Danger/Gawn Saturday arvo as VC.
Any other ideas?

Gibbo is a really tricky against Collingwood he'll have the chance to take a bag of intercept marks but looking at the team they've picked he does look like he'll have to stand a man rather than be the +1 which is a worry and what's affected his core the last 2 weeks.

Yep I watched him a few years back take a stack of intercept marks against Collingwood playing third man up but that was with a full strength Hawks outfit. Last week he was way off his game and credit to west coast to take him out of action. Can Buckley implement the same game plan this week?? Stratton out means Gibson has to be accountable for someone.
