Not only do you have a picture of Dangerfield in a Cats jumper as your avatar but now you tell me you support MV. #nemesis ;)

I'm a huge football fan (soccer to you plebs). If given a choice of four consecutive AFL premierships for my team (the Crows) or Australia winning the men's World Cup I would choose the World Cup in a heart beat. Most memorable games I have been to were the WC qualifier in Sydney in 2005 against...

    Relton Roberts Memorial League

Over 25,000 views! That is hilarious. He actually had career totals of 12 kicks, 1 Hb, 5 marks, 2 behinds, 1 tackle and 1 FA. And his SC peak was 15 points.

    Defenders 2016

Injury update from afc.com.au Four Crows are set to play their first games of the year this weekend. Riley Knight, Charlie Cameron, Andy Otten and Ricky Henderson will all be available to return to action on Saturday at AFL or SANFL level. Emerging forwards Knight (ankle) and Cameron (knee)...

Gun and a Rookie or Midprice Temptation

One factor you left out is captaincy choices. We are a bit spoilt this season with a discounted Ablett and Rockliff. But Fyfe has averaged over 120 for two consecutive years and played the first 16 games last year. In 5 of those he scored 145+. If you didn't have him in your team and missed...

    Strength of Schedule 2016

It can mean the difference between playing in an elimination or a qualifying final - that is massive in September.

    Rucks 2016

Your assumption is correct - atm I have Goldy & NicNat as my starting rucks. I had the same pair last year and it worked out ok.

    Rucks 2016

I posted this on the Veterans board but figured it belonged here too. In choosing my rucks durability and scoring potential are the main factors. Playing in top 8 teams another. Goldstein has played 3, 13, 21, 21, 20, 22, 21 & 21 since 2008. Jacobs has played 4, 12, 19, 21, 22, 22 & 21 since...

    Rucks 2016

I think Gawn is a better pick in AF. He has never played more than 13 games in a season which is what steers me away in SC. But in AF with 2 trades every week the risk is a lot less.

    Rucks 2016

I don't expect Goldy to average 130 this year. I think he will drop to ~120, maybe even as low as 115. However I do think he will be the highest scoring ruck as he will likely play all 22 games. The only other ruck I have confidence in playing 22 games is Jacobs (but with Dangerfield missing and...

    Rucks 2016

The problem of not starting Goldy is that even if he has a poor game and drops $100k you still have to find $600k to bring him in. A pair of rookies won't make you that much money so you will have to trade out at least one premium. That means you are effectively sideways trading. The other...

    Ablett, Fyfe, Pendles and Danger

I would argue that Danger is most damaging when someone else wins the ball and gives it to him. At the Crows Scott Thompson played this role. The Dangerfield + J Selwood combo must have Cats fans salivating. Both players can win their own ball and both can break packs and kick goals. Back on...

    Best Mid for final rounds

Don't get Beams, he is playing with a shoulder injury and will likely miss games. Sloane's cheekbone still hasn't healed fully so there is some risk that it will break a third time (he would have to be extremely unlucky but he plays at Adelaide who have zero luck). Like J-Dog and lenny have...

    Brodie Smith

@J-Dog - Yes. Smith & Lever are both playing and unlikely to lose their spot (barring injuries). Who knows how the remaining rounds will play out? What if you lose two premiums from the same line? What if they are your most expensive players and you can't trade them out? Sometimes you just have...
