    How many starters this week?

This week was always going to be the worst but all the planning in the world can't prepare you for late outs and injuries. Clark, Hogan, Amon, Lever, Mumford, trading Krak... Everything that seemed like a no brainer has come back to haunt us. So how are we all looking? Using 3 trades (which...

    Rate or Hate 2015 edition

I don't like the guy so it's easy for me to pot him, but he's never been an out and out consistent premium. Even last year it was a couple of months of outstanding footy rather than a whole year. Put him in the same category as Griffen. Pseudo-premo.

    Injuries

Thats so stiff Doddy. Same thing happened to me with him last year but it wasnt season ending. Its not that big a stretch to say that Mummy to GWS this year is what GAJ was to Gold Coast last year. Very similar positions and stages of the year too. Gold Coast were top 4 I think when Gaz went...

    Injuries

Mumford out for the season, needs an ankle reconstruction. The carnage is never ending.

    Mackie and cheaper DEF premiums

That's the only danger with it. He's as likely to bust out a sub affected 25 as he is a 125. I've got Byrne at D8 so if he comes back into carltons side that makes it a bit tricky. But from here on in, collingwood have a heap of Friday or Saturday arvo games and play before Carlton in all but 2...

    Mackie and cheaper DEF premiums

Ideally my plan is to upgrade McIntosh to a fallen premo for a tad over 100k and keep Oxley at d7. Loopholing between him and Newnes every week could get messy but could also pay off in a big way.

    Mackie and cheaper DEF premiums

I love that so many have traded him out. Unless he gets injured or Weller is injured and Newnes takes his role for the season then he's not going anywhere. Very comfortable with him at D6 after the byes.

    FWD Rookies

Really hope Steele can cement a spot post-byes. He will be in 80% if teams if he does but even averaging 60, he will provide awesome cover and flexibility. Fingers crossed.

    FWD Rookies

Ciaran Byrne is apparently back fit for Carlton. He played one game earlier this year but tweaked a hammy and has been out ever since. Fwd/def and 123k. I got on him before his first game (for Goodes) and have held him since but if he gets another game this week he will come into a lot of sides.

    SCC #2

Yeah I think that seems to be the way the scc community is tracking. Barring catastrophe I'll have any hard between 18-20 this week and the same the week after with one upgrade left once byes are done. I think we're in a pretty good position to hang around the top 10 from here.

    SCC #2

You're smashing it too FF. Nice work. How's everyone looking for the next 2 weeks?

    Bellchambers still...

Just ditched him for Dale as soon as SC was open. Felt damn good. Almost as good as it's gonna feel next week moving Griffen on. I love the byes.

The super coach gods suck!!! Best way to cover round 11 carnage.

I don't like Boston's js long term. But I had to get him this week. Its either him or one of the Melbourne kids but I won't get them without knowing who is sub and I need the cash tonight to get Wines in. So Boston it is. 2 weeks ago I looked like fielding 21 This week without even trading. Now...

    Upgrade or downgrade?

Depends what the rest of your def and mids look like and how much cash you have. 2 up, 1 down looks good though.

Ranked top 1000. Going for the 50k.

Sounds like a plan. My only tip would be that you won't make up ground by picking the same players as everyone else. With your defence, check some ownership stats before bringing in those upgrades. Gibson and Higgins will be pretty common... Might be worth looking at PODs like Laird, Mackie and...

    Bellchambers still...

Subbed at half time in a team that had no other actual ruckman... Yep, he's gone. Right before the 3 weeks of the year where we actually need him to play. Who's up for some vigilante action?

    Hall of Fame

Growing up watching Gazza live every week was a similar experience. I distinctly remember my old man telling me in probably '89 to make sure I remembered it and made the most of it because he was such a special player. I couldn't tell you how many times I saw him kick bags and sit on defenders...

    Rd 10 Downgrades

And Walters was a clear duck and headbutt. You take the good with the bad. Freo are winning the free kick count and are 8 goals down. Not sure they're having that big an influence on the game really.

    Krakouer.N

So apparently the new rules allow each club to upgrade a rookie for the year after round 11. Hinkley has basically come out and said Krak will be back when that happens. If he was a round 11 bye then I'd hold. But this just makes it a tricky call.

    Supercoach 2016

That all sounds great. Should make it easy to find some midprice gold. But remember there were a few guys we were looking forward to being cheap this year, like Wells, Montagna, Johnson, Watson...
