    Round 11 Trades

Hate to say it but - avoid Gaz. Whatever he is or isn't doing this year his SC scoring is way down even while his bare statistics are much the same as in previous years. His DT scoring, 117.2 average, is still up there with the best but somehow it isn't translating into good SC scores. Add in...

    Round 11 Trades

I like Kreuzer. In the games I've seen he's been very good. I thought he was better than both Goldy and Sandi the last couple of weeks. Admittedly both appeared to be carrying injuries. But Kreuzer looks to have regained confidence in his body, the way he is attacking contests - both in the ruck...

    ROUND 10 TRADES

Early days yet. This is probably the hardest game for him to score well he'll play for the rest of the year. Geelong at Geelong against another athletic ruck. He has 8 of the remaining 13 at home.

    ROUND 10 TRADES

I went Sandi-Ryder myself - crucial for the byes, helpful if there are any ruck injuries and good chance to be top-10 if not top-6 forward.

    ROUND 10 TRADES

Notice Greene has been picked on-ball? If that means anything. 130BE and rnd.13 bye make him a no-no for me.

    ROUND 10 TRADES

Hanneberry is back on the booze: "I've had one or two in the last few weeks". Trade him in now!.

    ROUND 10 TRADES

Not saying "don't get Wallis" but I do wonder if his numbers will be good enough, even for a fwd. Last year he scored 100+ only 3 times and, taking out his injury-affected game, averaged 89.5. Currently, of the fwds who have played at least 5 games the 10th ranked is NRoo with a 96.5 average.

    ROUND 10 TRADES

Greenwood. Plays mid and fwd, CP and tackles. By all reports very professional and mature in his approach. Cheaper than Stewart, too.

    ROUND 10 TRADES

I wouldn't and won't. Beveridge likes to rotate his mids thru the wings -> fwds. They rarely spend all day on the ball. If they do it seems to be in their first game or two when returning from injury - to get their touch back? Wallis appeared to be on-ball all game last w/end. He likely will be...

    Gary Ablett owners...

I think that Gaz is having a better season than his SC numbers might suggest. He is coming 4th in the AFL Coaches' Award with 32 votes. Rnd.1: Beams 10 votes, Gaz 6 votes. SC: Rocky 137, May 123, Hall 118, Miller 117, Gaz and Zorko 114. Beams only scored 91SC Rnd.2: all GWS in votes. SC: Gaz 73...

    Round 8 discussion

I did and quite happy to have him. He's much less up-and-down than he has been in the past and scores well when played in defence. When he played on the wing in qtrs 2 and 3 he had 2 and 8 possies. When he played mainly hbf in the 4th he scored 50+SC, which I thought was not totally undeserved...

    Upgrade Targets

I don't trust Hinkley (and Voss) to keep roles consistent. They mix and match too much for me. Look at what has happened to R Gray this season.

    Upgrade Targets

I'm targeting Neale but avoiding Ebert. I don't trust the way Hinkley uses his players. Look at what he's done with Robbie Gray. And Wines has been up and down: 19-35 possies, 56-145 SC.

    Upgrade Targets

I think Neale is worth considering. Lowest scores of 83 and 84. The rest 119-147. Looks to have rounded out his game nicely, no longer just an inside-mid. Good POD in only 2.9% of teams.

    Round 7 discussion

I also think he's decent option. On 2 weeks evidence his role is a mix of inside-mid and wing/hff. Gets CPs and tackles. Richo likes "what he brings" - a hardness/toughness. Should average somewhere about 95+. Question is, is that enough? At $467,900 he'd have to be a keeper.

Balic. At home against the Bombers. Barrett is away against the Swans.

    Round 7 discussion

Traded Beams for Roberton and very happy on tonight's evidence. Perfect game for SC: 19 kicks with only 1 handball; good DE; takes most kick-outs. A bit like Shaw's game. I was a bit worried that he was playing the Giants but his 50BE couldn't be ignored. I doubt his price will be any lower...
