I got an answer to my query and it's a doozy: "A transfer amnesty means you can make as many transfers as you like during this period at no extra cost." Don't you love it? You get 8 transfers in the 1st block up to stage 7. Then 8 plus however many you make in that specific 1-day window on July...

    I've sent them a query.

No idea. If we get 8 up to the start of stage 7, then a further 8 to the start of stage 14, the amnesty is smack bang in the middle. Maybe it means we can try out different trades during that period without them counting to the total? Makes no sense to me.

@keffa It would have been great for you to watch Cook win the green. I get excited watching any Aussie win one of these events but to be friends with the bloke? Awesome. Aru v Nibali? Given what you've told us I doubt I will pick either for my fantasy team. At least not until they show us...

Your mates with Baden Cook? I remember his green jersey win. What a win. Won it on the last day by coming 2nd in a sprint finish on the Champs. Just beat out Robbie McEwen. Last time the green jersey was close. Good odds for Nibali but not unrealistic. Won the Giro and hard to back up for the...

@Grater Yep, why not enter both? I'd be happy to set up an SCC League in both. Use the RCUK one for fun and the SBS one for serious - it's the one with prizes we can actually win.

I've entered the Velogames comps for the Giro and the Classics but I don't particularly like the format for the GTs. You select your team before the race and that is it - no transfers at all. If a rider crashes out in the first day or so, tough. I ended up losing 4 riders from my team in the...

Yeah, I heard that they were having a fantasy competition on their cycling podcast. I've been waiting for it to appear as I'd love to have a SCC League again this year. With prizes to be won in Australia!!

You would think so, at least for the next 4-5 weeks. All 3 of the first-choice KPDs are out for the Sainters but when Fisher and Dempster return Lee is likely to be dropped again. I suppose it depends on how well he performs compared to Delaney too.

The projected price change is based on projected scores. For any rookie, without any history to go on, the projected scores appear to always be that player's current average. As Davis' current average is 62 they are projecting 62s for the rest of the year. His recent 90 and 84 will boost his...

Maybe the development team had a bye last week-end? I read somewhere that he didn't play for Sandy as they want to take it real slow with his hammy.

He didn't play in the VFL on the week-end. See this report in the Hun: http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/footy-form/nathan-freeman-to-sit-out-of-football-again-as-st-kilda-continues-cautious-return/news-story/aad37ba7b1b934b93c74941a87948801 He did play for the Sandy reserves a couple of...

Holding him for now as his average is still higher than his BE and his next 3 are Essendon, Collingwood and Brisbane.

Probably only filling in while Roberton is out injured but who knows? As a tall he isn't competing with Geary/Webster/Weller/whoever for their spot. And I don't see him displacing either Fisher and Dempster. Seems to definitely be ahead of Goddard etc. Might keep his spot if he plays well...
