Connor Blakely (DEF) from Freo has played 1 game. Looks solid and had some great form last year. Anyone considering him as a DEF option? I can upgrade Darcy Moore to him which will avoid a donut in defence and possibly be a bit of a POD.

I heard Darcy Moore is under an injury cloud and could be a late out - keep an eye out.

Sloane is interesting. Has a good bye and definitely a POD. Good value. My only concern with him is consistency - he tends to the odd bad run of scores every year that I can recall.

Assuming you mean Tim Kelly, I'd go first option. Might give you more flexibility during the bye rounds.

I am looking at a couple of options this week: Double downgrade to Hately & Answorth (trade out Butters & Scrimshaw / Libba) or 1 down (Libba to Hately) 1 up (Butters to Westhoff (via DPP magic) I like the idea of getting Westhoff at value price. He may offer extra value over the byes...

Great alternative. FYI Fyfe has rd 12 bye. Kelly is Rd 14. I have a few GWS players already so leaning more towards Fyfe just for team balance at the moment.

FWD rookies would be Drew & Parker on field. Pertecelle and Bines on bench. DEF rookies would be Scrimshaw, Ridley and Dursma for this week due to Whitfield injury :-(. Burgess is other bench.
