Shattered I'll have to burn a trade in the ruck. That wasn't part of the plan at all.

Early thoughts... Stef to Gawn, JJ to one of the bubble boys. Use that cash next week to turn Papley into an elite mid via DPP.

So is Steff a definite out?
Papley has to go for sure.
They've said he definitely will miss next week and his injuries may be more serious than first thought. Given they've already had a retirement through concussion at Brisbane this year, it wouldn't surprise me to see them give him 2-3 weeks.

Bugger.
Looks like Goldy will be on the books next weekend.

What about Gray's little tummy tap on Ward. Hearing he could get a week for that.

Yeah it's Robbie. Behind play, fairly doggish. More likely to get a fine with his good record I'd say.

Guys, have any of you thought about Matthew Wright at Carlton? I brought him into my midfield last week due to his low break even and I'm wondering if he could be a long term crouch replacement and defend pod?!

I agree about Papley. But waiting until Thursday night to worry about Martin in case Grimley plays. Otherwise thinking of getting Blicavs in and putting Martin on the bench. Can swap Blicavs into the mid field later.

I also have JJ :(

Does anyone know how the clangers work??

Charlie Dixon was the stats I was looking at (not for SC purposes...). He is listed as having 8 disposals, 7 clangers but a DE% of 75%. Apparently at half-time he had 3 disposals and 5 clangers.

So from that I assume a clanger doesn't count as a possession??

I'm guessing 50m penalties count but not sure what else goes towards clangers

A FA (free kick against) is a typical example of a clanger.

@Steve is right, 50m pens also count as clangers

If he was out for one and you believe the jungle drums, might be worth bringing Cox into R3. Sounds like he is a walk up start this week.
