At least i didn't bring Houli in this week!
Goes with the rule of not bringing in fully-priced defenders. Do you think Tom McDonald will bounce back to his 2015 scoring? I think he'll be getting pretty cheap soon.

I've had Houli since day dot so i've been waiting for this game.
As for McDonald he really doesn't seem to be himself atm. I would be staying clear of him for a while.

On another topic i generally don't get to frustrated or upset with umpires, but tonight has been notjing short of disgraceful.

I wouldn't complain if Martin played to his capabilities

Seems like NicNat and Lycett are splitting the ruckwork about 60/40 but the frustrating thing is when Lycett is rested he goes forward, when NicNat is tested he comes to the pine. Kind of frustrating he should have gone huge tonight with no ruckman to contend with for most of the game

Disappointing score for him given the circumstances. Only 66% TOG so suspect with the result decided they thought best to manage his gametime and let Lycett ruck for a bit.

I'd rather them rest Nic Nat within a game than have him miss a week.

I've read a few people say NN should have dominated tonight, and in a sense I agree.... but, it's a loooong season, and NN is perhaps their most valuable assest. They're not going to flog him into the ground when they have the luxury of being 50 points up. It's not great for our SC sides but it should help NN's lifespan.

What do you reckon guys, take Menadues 58 or see what Papley can do?

I'd roll the dice. It's unlikely to cost you many points. Likely worst case scenario you lose 20 points. Likely best case you gain 40. Pretty good chance there'll be less than 10 points either way.

Plus, NN might be needed a bit more next week after Lycett cops a week for hitting Vickery.

I'm done with Lonergan. I don't care if he averages 80. He was 26 after 10 mins today (like most weeks) and then couldn't break 60 by FT. I've only used 1 trade so far and I'm falling way too far off the pace. Cutting my losses.

He's shaping up to be a bit of a Newnes.

I'm sticking fat. Partly because I have faith and partly because I traded Sheridan out instead :p

Let's see what today brings.

Look at the positive side of all this, it's only round 4 we still have 20 more weeks of this rollercoaster!

Turns out 20 wasn't worst case, it was 34 points!!!

Didn't watch all of the game, but didn't sight Papley at all. Did think he'd score less in tougher games, but the Swans scored over 100 last night and he still did nothing. He looks like he'll be up for slaughtering next week now with a 46 and 24 in his price cycle his BE should be 50+.

Also a good case of why I don't have any Swans mids in my side. Hanners goes big but the others are well back. Parker was heading for an 80 until his late touches and a goal boosted him up.

How good are PODs that score 70s, had 14 play and only 3 top 100, really horrible round.

Kelly and Stokes knocking out tons while my Geelong players struggled was entertaining to
