Agree with some of this but not all. I got Wallis in as cover in the midfield last year and he served me very very well.
The pass mark is a bit different in the forward line to the midfield. If he puts in a couple of low ones it doesn't matter so much as long as his good ones are good.
I'm not saying he's a definite but he is under consideration for me at F5-6.
Not saying "don't get Wallis" but I do wonder if his numbers will be good enough, even for a fwd. Last year he scored 100+ only 3 times and, taking out his injury-affected game, averaged 89.5.
Currently, of the fwds who have played at least 5 games the 10th ranked is NRoo with a 96.5 average.

I'm thinking of going early on Tom Lynch, trading him in for Sandi, Noticed the Dees have conceded bags of 4 N Riewoldt, 5 Hawkins, 6 J Riewoldt, 1.6 Daniher (2.1 to Hooker as well), 4 Roughead, 5 B Brown, theoretically Lynch could go very close to that BE of 154.

Couple days to think about it thankfully.

Traded Greene in last week, Have regretted it a little just because he looks really reliant on Goals, but on flip side can score big from 15ish touches a couple goals.

i wanted cameron but i went with ryder based on the fact i think they will all average with 5points of one another, and ryder has less risk. Also he will probally make up any point difference by playing all 3 byes. I hope ...

I went Sandi-Ryder myself - crucial for the byes, helpful if there are any ruck injuries and good chance to be top-10 if not top-6 forward.

Ryder hard done in the hitout department. I have seen 2-3 to advantage, that wernt paid. Pretty stiff taking that contested mark on the siren worth zero points aswell. :( Ahwell they can't all turn into gold. In hind sight I could have gone to Goldstein had 3 ruckmen. would have had Stef martin/goldstien and Sandilands alternating throughout the byes, and then offloaded Sandilands round 13 for a forward via dpp. Seems so clear now, disappointed I missed this option.

Early days yet. This is probably the hardest game for him to score well he'll play for the rest of the year. Geelong at Geelong against another athletic ruck.
He has 8 of the remaining 13 at home.

Yep, fair points. Speaking of NRoo he is actually the one I'm more likely to get I think after he's had a couple of weeks off if he looks OK when he's back.

I might have gone Ryder but I would have needed a Backline downgrade and there weren't any with Frazer Mc not making it to a third game (and no way I'm going early in Shazza with that injury history).

So this week I'm going:
Marchbank to Hibberd
Butler to Greenwood (to save a donut)

Sandi > Ryder

I'm not trading to avoid a donut but I'm trading to avoid having to put Parsons on field which is the closest thing to...
I actually ended up changing my mind and went Sandi>Pendles via dpp (Nank\Taranto) could get it done with 1k spare!
This leaves me with no ruck cover but hoping by the time I need some cover Gawn will be back and he can be my final upgrade swinging Nank back forward.... Fingers crossed!

predicament - 17 trades 66k in the bank
team as follows:
Def - Doch, Laird, M/bank, Newman, Berry, EVW, Hampton, Stewart
Mid - Danger, Bont, Pendles, Adams, Heppell, Hanners, Fyfe, Priddis, SPP, Picket, Myers
Ruc - Steph, Grundy, Strnadica
Fwd - Dollhouse, Nank, Ryder, WHE, Taranto, Hardwick, Parsons, T Smith

thinking only one trade of Marchbank to Hibberd leaves me 6k both rnd 11 bye so does not alter bye structure of 18 on field before trades for rnd 11
could also do Hampton to Lloyd via dpp, however this will close def/mid swing which could become handy, but this will bring me up to a bank balance of 168k and another on field body for rnd 11
