It's only Wednesday guys and only 5 days since we had the previous podcast. During the preseason, I reckon it will come out later in the week.I don't think soI been waiting for it too

Cameron Guthrie's finish to the year anything to read into? Particularly the very last 6 weeks?

With the purchased midfield depth can't see him spending too much time in there, reckon he'll go back to be a back flanker without the def DP in SC.
Yeah I read something over summer about Guthrie going back this year. I'll try to find the article and post it if I can.

Here is a link to the video where Guthrie states that he will be spending more time in the back line. I can't see him having a repeat of those numbers this year.

Selwood was struggling, Caddy was in and out of the side through injury, Duncan was out, Blitz was rucking... the midfield was pretty much Selwood at half strength, Guthrie and Motlop for the last 8 weeks or so. I love the Guff and reckon he could be a beast if he was a pure mid. But as mentioned he will be playing off half back this year. I would say he will slot into the role Kelly played for the last couple of years. This time next year, he will be a lock at D3 for everyone.

Just listened to the podcast, and I had all their locks already except Goldy, so playing around with him in the side, to afford him I brought in Nicholls instead of Nic Nat, and Goldy instead of Stefan Martin... I really do rate Nicholls if he gets a good run at it, had his first complete preseason, started from day 1 and he also gets Ablett, Prestia, O'Meara and Swallow back at his feet without Zac Smith stealing points. Don't think there's any other realistic threat to take #1 ruck duties away from him, he kinda reminds me of the Nic Nat pick in 2015

Thanks mate, my concern is just Nicholl's scoring potential, I'm only about 30% sure he can reach around 105
Yeah genuine concern hard to see him jumping up 25pts a game, but he will improve on his 80ave from last season, I think 95 is realistic.
Yeah if it's only up to 95 it's a sign to stay away... oh well, was a nice thought
Heeney up forward and Thurlow done back interest me a little, that 70 average doesn't look too bad up against the Bont's first season average from Heeney,
Thurlow fell away badly towards the end of the season but was first full season and had a shocking injury in preseason, types I'm really unlikely to start with but wouldn't suprise me if they had breakout seasons.
