It would be interesting to see what different structure the community is running.
Premos/mids and rookies in each line.
I cannot seem to get the right mix.
I know it depends a lot on which rookies come up but what are you going with at this stage?

I wouldn't be worried about getting the "right mix" with your structure yet.

Your structure should be based on the best playing rookies. Nothing about my team is concrete until I know what rookies are available.

Exactly this, nailing the right rookies is more important than nailing the right number of premos. If there are 6 solid/safe rookie picks in the back/forward line I'd be more than happy to go 2 premos on either of those lines and load up on premos in another line where the rookie class isn't strong. Being stuck with too many rookies making no money/not playing can blow apart a season.

Second what's been said.

Structure will depend entirely on the quality of rookies available in each line.

Yep until R1 teams are announced have to agree with comments above but at this stage looking like going with 3 premos + Greene in the FWD's 1 or 2 premos down back and three 600K premos in the mids as rookies seem to be a bit light on so far in the FWD's but that can change.

The forward rookies seem to be a bit scarce, Leaning towards 2 premos in defence and 4 forward.

I wish there was a safe cheaper option to put at R2. Forking out 1.4m for rucks alone is crippling but it's fast becoming a no-brainer to go with Gawn & Grundy

I've been playing 5 deep in the midfield since SC opened and I've finally pulled back to 4 at the expense of Fyfe.

On the basis the LDU and Walsh may both end up being good picks.

Oh yeah team structure will totally depend on the quality of the rookies in each line. I've actually seen a lot of 3 premos in DEF and FWD - so it'll be interesting to see whether that changes once the field of quality rookies is clear/er.

Interested as to how many rookies everyone has on field in each line.

I’m looking at something like

Def - 3 Rookies
Mid - 2 Rookies
Forward - 1 Rookie

On field. Are people thinking similar?

I'm going against the trend a little. Starting Gawn and going Lobbe at R2 and Bines at R3. Grundy's avg was a more than 30 point increase than ever before. I think he'll be a top 2 ruck option but will avg less. By mid season Lobbe will be in my fwd line at least F7 as fwd and ruck backup. Using that 300k somewhere else on my team to start.
