Yep that's fair, just happened to work for my team last week, sounds funny but I wouldn't bring him in this week even being on the bubble.

I wouldn't be concerned about Giles getting a game. Not going to happen. The only chance he has of getting game time is if every Bombers tall gets injured and even then I don't think they would select him.

Either way he would be f7 with Steele/lambert as f8. Has a higher ceiling than Lonie as can cover rucks also pockets me a 40k

I reckon go for it, should outscore Lonie, probably better JS, and covers two lines. Other than using a trade is there really a downside?
