Grimley looks like he'll play consistently. Even if Leuy is fit, he'll be in the forward line you'd expect as there's not really many other options.
Michael is an interesting one. Looks good if Leuy is out, but you'd think if Leuy is fit then he'll miss out.
On the subject of Leuy, supposedly planning to play NAB3 which brings him back into contention. I'm keen on my NicNat/Gawn combo, but would have to consider a fit Leuenberger priced at 57....

I feel like if I start Gawn the only reason I would trade him is if his injured or averaging less than 100, you have to hope that 145k is gaining you 220 points on other teams because Goldy probally will average 10 extra a game
Gawn will do well to get within 10 of Goldy! I think Goldy should manage to maintain his average at 128 or thereabouts and will be 15-20 clear of Gawn. Plus you know you're gonna get 22 games out of him (only been rested one game each of the last 2 seasons which won't happen this year given the gap between round 23 and finals) so I think he's definitely worth the money.
You would be kicking yourself if you locked in 2 premium rucks such as Stef and Gawn and you missed out on a stretch of scores like this: 134 128 136 150 148 140 221 127 164 155 122 116 102

91 was with no help against Nic Nat and Lycett, and hitting down to a below par midfield. Without Nicholls he'll be the ultimate cash cow, and he'll play as 2nd ruck when Nicholls is playing so it's not like we can downgrade to him.

Cox takes a Leo "esk" type mark in the dying seconds of todays match. The boy has a great set of mitts.

In a perfect world I'd love to just go Goldy Martin/Gawn and be done with it but i just lo love how my team looks with a cheaper option at R2, at this stage Lobbe and Leu certainly don't look up to it but Zac Smith is putting his hand up, only played 50%GT yesterday and only half of that in the ruck and still knocked a ton, at his price is he upgradable? or if you select him does it have to be stay for the season?

I don't doubt his ability around the grounds but Smith played #1 ruck in NAB 1, Witts doubled his hitouts in that game and Grundy had about the same as Zac... Essendon game is throwaway score, although he played only 50% gametime he played forward against an Essendon team that wasn't even fielding best 22.
Geelong have a lot of big men that can't quite get the job done in the hitouts but are good around the grounds. I wouldn't want to be worried about job security if I paid 420k for him, I think he's in their best 22, but it could easily change from week to week
TBH i'm not worried about JS he's No1 ruck now I reckon obviously in Geelong's setup that's doesn't mean 90% ruck time probably more like 70% which I think is enough, I couldn't find the stats but I'm hopeful despite not having high HO numbers that he has a good ratio of HOtA
