What a shocker this round is turning out to be lads. Lids injury now joins the past 2 nights under performing mids... hopefully that's the end of the bad stuff for this round!

Went against my better judgement and the boys advice on the podcast and brought Clay Smith in for Trengrove to strengthen my bench. Everyone will end up running out of trades anyway (myself included!) so with a full premo side I decided why not. Happy having him on field this week but could've been so much better having kicked 3.4.

Is it just me or are there a lot less "late outs" or "late changes" this year.

Yeah seems to be heaps less. I wonder if it's to do with the sub rule? Maybe clubs thought they had a little bit leeway in being able to use a sub if someone wasn't quite right to play, whereas this year they will just rest them for the week instead of making the late call.

I did the same mate and brought in Smith shortly after my last post on here last night for Petracca... Turns out I didn't set him as EMG... Had to put my young bloke to bed and forgot it was a 7.25 start and missed the jump by about 5 minutes!

So I now have resorted to benching Kerridge and putting Mathesion on field in the hope Kerridge fires today and I can then simply whack Trengrove on field..

Boy oh boy do I want this round to hurry up and end!

Great effort kinggo! Who did you have covering defence?

I had 2299 with Laird, Bartel and Libba benched plus Deledios injury and Stef going at 30% DE resulting in a -40 AF/SC score. Low compared to a lot of other scores but not too bad considering.

Collins and Joyce covering with the right choice of benching Hall to loophole Wingard this week. Don't think I'll get that lucky again for the year.

2467 for me this week. Could have been better with Gaff's 128 on the bench and Bont (121) as captain.

Have avoided most of the carnage this week with Laird the only concern. JJ with 65 was the weakest link this week, hopefully he comes good because he's been a dud so far since his comeback.

2341 which I am reasonably happy with considering I had Bartel, Laird, Neale and the one that hurts the most Barlow. Bloody Rance has done stuff all since I brought him in. 5 trades left and likely to have to trade Barlow out.

I have Barlow and Lids. This season is even worse than last year for me which i though would be impossible.

2420 for me this weekend.

Had Collins (58) on the park for Laird and had Lids on fire at the G before going down with 67 shortly after half time.

My Clay Smith trade for Petracca I'm liking alot even though I forgot to set EMG on him, didn't matter because me mate Kerridge went 101!

Hanners 68, Buddy 75 and Rance 67 to go with my trade in of Lachie Neale 78 for Gaz.

Alot of upside, jumped from 323 overall into 295 now.

4 trade left and 156k in the kitty. Sweating on Lids this week, most likely to hold Kerridge for one more although Priddis is in my price range at the minute so will see what happens. Kerridge, Smtih and Mathesion all proving to be solid depth in the mids at this time of the season.

Thought Danger would be roped in by Barlow and was until Danger went bang in the 3rd when Barlow went down and then quietened down in the 4th.

DanHan VC and Sloane C gave me a shocking 2249.

Barlow and Rich to Zac and Laird (if picked) looks ok
