So ... Newman to Lloyd actually makes about 20K this week ... but is it worth the trade. I was all set to do it but it is damn hard to trade out a guy who is scoring like Newman.

I can't really afford to get Lloyd via another trade and I don't really want that much value sitting on my bench so the equation is:

Newman D6, 10 trades left, 9K in the bank

Or

Lloyd D6, 9 trades left, 26.5K in the bank

Have the cash to turn scooter to any mid. But with the way my current premo midshave been given going not sure why I would. Bont rocky Jelwood JPK all below average.

So it looks like parsons and EVW for Lloyd and Ryan. Will hold scooter and play either Stewart at d6 or greenwood at F6.

Anyone looking to a very cheap JJ for bench cover in a couple of weeks?

Think I'll cover Scooter for now too. My last couple of mid upgrades have been very underwhelming and no one is screaming "pick me" (except for Zorko).

Neale at 563k is interesting. Since Freo bottomed out in round 3, he has averaged 120 over 9 games including a 55 against Adelaide 3 weeks ago, which is about to cycle out of his movements. Nice little POD too.

Tom Mitchell interests me a lot. Won't go huge but consistently scores 110. Maybe with the way the mid premos are going at the moment, a solid and reliable 110 a week isnt so bad.

Neale looks a perfect addition this week for me, 3K short of Barrett & Berry to Neale & Ryan, but with a bit of swinging I can get Hannan involved and do it.

Always been a bit skeptical just because he seems to need to get a lot of ball to go big that being said he tends to get a lot of ball, him, Mitchell, Neale not much between them,

It's something to consider for sure, I feel like he's a better player this season than previous ones & he's scored 90 & 108 at SS before.

I would be holding Newman at D6. Lloyd is great value, no way of bringing him into mid bench?

I got zerrett as my first mid upgrade at around week 7. I hardly notice I have him most weeks. Which is to say he gets around his 110 ave and I dont have to worry about it. Like a pendles v2 without the 150s. Very happy owner

Final upgrade done next week with 8 trades remaining. Will try to keep Newman as D7. Maybe look to upgrading a mid too, Fyfe seems cooked and Sloane, Rocky have done awful since I brought them in (sorry everyone else), Beams not really playing like a M8 either.

Josh Kelly? Pretty consistent, but exact same average so probably not worth the extra 50k. Not knowing who you have it's hard to say but anyone currently going at 110 this far through the season probably won't bite you too much. Looking at draws and teams that will be in that 5-10 battle is where I'd start to get the best chance of playing maximum games.

Lachie Neale's the one that got away for me. Absolute jet, but couldn't bring myself to wait the extra week and went with Bont instead.

I would be trading Neale in above pretty much anyone else this round... think he's the perfect POD. The low score was in Adelaide when it was raining sideways.

I'd planned to bring in Lloyd this week for Newman but now I'm leaning towards Roberton. Saints draw is beautiful and something which stands out about the way he scores- he's not a linebreaker, he's just so efficient rebounding that he soaks up SC.
