Some movement so far during trade periodone of the biggest snippet SC wise is the news the Goldy maybe headed to WA.
Will it be WC? Nic Nat only out for a year, be interesting hiwhe fits in.

Will it be Freo, could be a great replacement for an aging Sandy?
If Freo Fyfe may just love having the ball put down his throat again.

Some nasty rumors around about Goldy. Trade period is both the best and the worst.

Really interesting moves from my Hawks. I think Lewis still goes too. My heart hates it but my head understands it.

Hopefully the O'Meara and Gibbs deals get done on Monday so all the other stuff can get thru. A week-and-a-half-ish seems like the right length of time.

Can't see why Goldy would be useful for West Coast (neither him or Nic Nat can play fwd once both are fit at the same time) or Freo (need a total rebuild and I think will draft a ruck at pick 7 anyway). If he does go, I'd worry North are selling low (assuming some drama has happened, surely the only reason they trade him). Wonder whether the Hawks could somehow re-route him to GC in an O'Meara deal.

You never know, the Hawks are pretty cagey.
As much as Lewis is a good player, i'd prefer him to stay off the Dees list.
Our mids are finally gelling and to throw a new one in the mix won't help, especially when he will only be there for 2 years.
There's no reason to sign a player in their 30's.

It's weird they offered him a multiple year deal but didn't hold on to Jmac due to age a few years back. .

Some guys who've changed clubs that i'll be looking very close at and will probbaly be the death of my team next year

Caddy - Assuming he gets FWD status, he's been pretty close to a FWD premo really and should be a little under priced if he can improve his output by 5-10%

Marchbank - Goes into a high SC scoring back line / team style under bolton, big watch in the preseason should be rookie premium rookie priced.

Jack Steele - Points up for grabs in that St Kilda midfield, loves a tackle which always helps, has SC potential and underpriced off a wayward season.

Hibbard - I'm a bit iffy on Melbourne defenders but has shown a 90 ave in the past and will be a designated kicker back their.

Cam Mcarthy - all depends on price really if rookie priced i'd be very interested.

Lyons - Would be very surprised h\if he didn't at least match this season's form which makes him a genuine option.
,
Really intrigued to see what Chris Mayne does pre-season he's a better player than he's shown last couple year, if he get's his dead eye kicking back and continues to tackle like a man possessed i'm interested.

Vardy - Assuming a big pre-season, assuming he's best 22, he's capable of scoring well as a ruck/forward.

Not a trade but Heeney is basically a lock with Mitchell gone and FWD eligibility,

I think McCarthy, if fit, might be a good pick (assuming rookie price). I think Hibberd might be a good pick if his pre-season is good, reckon Melbourne might improve again (both ladder and SC-wise) and play a more attacking game under Goodwin. If Jaeger is fit (a big if) he should be cheaper again this year. Vardy could be a nice R/F if he is basement priced.

First picked? Bont has to be up there for me. A cheap Fyfe. Strangely, Docherty would be really high on my list. Dusty if he's a forward (a big if I think).

It's going to be an interesting pre season with so many player movements.

As much as i think JOM will be almost a must have, i won't ve touching him, his body is stuffed, 2 yrs out of the game, it may have just past him.

Caddy will be one to keep an eye on if he is a fwrd (he should be), he's going to play a mid tole you would think, and Cotchin may be a great get with Caddy and Prestia's inclusion.

Agree with above on Caddy only had a decent year and averaged 89.6 after a 93.7 the year before, doesn't mind getting injured though
