Made $35k and 2 points on the Majok to Young trade, so pretty happy with that. Just hope AJ turns it on today but not at the expense of DJ.

Bloody crazy, safe to say that Kay is now safe from the table for the next week or 2, i'm now happy the i didn't bring Conklin in last week.
My problem this week is Hire, worth nothing both money and point wise, don't know what to do with him.

Went Lisch to Prather this week, all but 1 (AJ) on a double.
Hoping the way I'm set should only be a 1 trade week next week also (form pending).

32nd overall and 8th in the race for 5k...made me wanna chase Prather to try to keep up. Decided to skip him and not trade at all, meaning I kept Beal. Suffice to say I'm happy with how that has started!

Nice job, glad to hear you've gotten of to ripper start. I forgot to put AJ on the bench and put Knight on court, so safe to say my weekend wont be quite as good as your's lol. The only positive is AJ has the C. All the best for the remainder of the round, way it's started could go pretty large.

I've gone DJ to Warrick, and Hire to Pledger. Few $ in the bank and almost have a team i can run with for a while. Hoping there will be no need to trade week, but hey you never know.

Saw the SCC league moved up a few this week, what o/a's are the coaches looking at?

Solid calls on the trade there, some Melb and NZ guys will be handy thru the byes. I'm hoping to save one, maybe two trades if I can (have saved 3 so far). I've got 9/10 on doubles this week. Kenny my only one I really wanna get rid of now that Martin is back.

The great man Keffa was the #1 team overall for the week (!!!), is 2nd in the race for 5k and is 16th overall;
I'm 4th for the cash / 22nd overall;
Hondo is 12th (cash) / 54th (overall) and
Hawker's wife () is 11th overall!

So the question for the week.
Do we hold onto Kay for one more week?
Is he ready to be cut, and who for? I'm thinking of getting rid of him, and bringing in Brandt. Free up some cash and he's averaged 34 in his last 3 and 24 in his last 5 so could be hitting some form.

Yeah time for Kay to go, doubles over and with a new, big import. I'll lose DJ too cos of his bye but will probs swing Penney (assuming / hoping he plays) forward and grabbing a guard (Goulding?) and a forward (Kickert?). Keffa made a good point on Brandt - as a C only he's a bit tricky to handle over the byes (ie when AJ has his bye).

Yeah true, but i'm needing cash to upgrade my guards, so he's about the only one that i could really feel comfortable with.
I might have another look through and see what i come up with, Goulding is also on my radar for the first of my upgrades.

My other headache is Prather and what happens with him. Word is he'll be OK but who knows.

With Brandt it depends what your long term goals are. If you pick him you have to play him on a single in round 12 when others might have the likes of Majok/Kickert on a double. You could lose 60 points in the one position in a single round. Pretty devastating really, but if you don't care about overall and are just trying to build a big salary cap then he could be a nice pick up.

True i'm kind of stuck at the moment as i have Warrick and Vukona on the pine fwrd, but do have Knight i can swing into the middle to cover Ogilvy on his bye. I really just need the coin to upgrade my gaurds, as Kenny and Maynard are worth bugger all.

So I bit the bullet and traded for next week with the inclusion of, Kickert and Blanchfield (hoping he goes big), then next week Prather will go for some quick cash and some fresh Cairns Blood.
With these I still have 15 trades and a team that is starting to resemble something that is a team.
