Why are you looking at him as an upgrade? do you think he's going to start slowly?
Thats what i'm hoping for. I'm going with a slightly different angle toward my mids this year. Fyfe i can't see getting anymore expensive so he'll either be roughly the same price or cheaper (hope) when i want to get him.
2006 was the last year I didn't have him in my side. Can't see that changing this year. Not sure I am start with him though... Even with my unhealthy man-crush.

I can't pick Jelwood this year. 10 scores of 90 or under in 2015. He'll still cop heavy tags and doesn't seem like he can work through them anymore like he once could.
Still good for a 105 or even 110 average, but can't see him doing 115 or 120 this year.

He was missing Caddy, Bartel and Duncan for large chunks of the year. I don't think he as so much tagged out of games as the fact that he just couldnt get into them as much. An easier draw, healthy list, and gun clearance player to help him out... He will be in most midfields by the time the byes hit.
Yep couldn't agree more Steve. He lacked mates in the middle last year, this year will be a different story.
OK burning question, start with GAJ and if he looks good in the first 2 rounds then awesome, or don't start with him....
my reasoning with starting the man is if he does not fire its easier to sideways trade him, and if you don't start him and he fires its going to be difficult to find a spot for him until the bye rounds, and possibly missing out on good points.

I personally would wait and see with Selwood you'd think he'll be eased into the season & R4 v Dons a great place for him to be rested.
It may have been stated before by others as I haven't read it, yet I am tempted to avoid Liberatore this year which may seem insane and I get it, instead I am looking to have my M5 end up being M8 by the end of the year and it would be Patrick Cripps. Ballsy? Stupid? Blind faith? Saw him against the Swans and he didn't play last quarter and a half and had 24, most importantly, most were contested. Am I being blinded?
No, he is a gun! Whether it happens this year I don't know, but he will be in the top 10 scoring mids in the comp sooner rather than later.
Dayne Beams is likely to miss at least half of the season for Brisbane with a knee problem.
He had his chances last year and stunk it up. Rich does nothing for me at all.
