Is Oxley Moron a Tragic Comedy?

So Oxley had crap numbers (subbed out presumeably injured). Anyone heard what the issue is? Is he worth hanging onto until the bye round?

Would of thought goner for everyone this week with a high breakeven and most people having at least 3 rnd 12 bye players in def.
The fact i jagged trading him out due to missing my "wanted" trades on saturday (due to my excessive alcohol consumption and stupidness) I can only surmise he will be back round 10 to stitch up melbourne (his big games have been against a couple of teams performing ordinary at the time IMHO) but then rnd 11 against the giants I think will possibly test him if they bring their super dooper fast ball movement to the party.
Anyway just my take, If my rationale takes a lead from my round 9 trades, get off the ox cart.

I'm planning a bye dodging triple defensive upgrade at rd 12 so he stays with me for now.

Same jdog. Ideally going double upgrade on Oxley and saad in rd 12. Got an eye on Brodie Smith, only thing is there will be little to no formline on him. Also hoping Hodge has a down game this week so he becomes a bit more affordable.

I'd love to get Hodge but I can't see him being affordable, BE of 95 and only one more game before his bye. Like the look of Smith (too cheap to pass up), Gibson, and Houli/Birchall at this stage.

Hmmm good point Dino, think I still might hold, with Hodge's BE at 97 hopefully he won't go up much. The other thought I had was to bring in Gibson instead of Hodge, Gibson at 40K cheaper and low BE. I guess the question is whether or not Gibson will feature as a top 6 DEF by seasons end ...

I think he will for sure. Hodge could well be number 1 though...

I think Gibbo will be top 6 def. Even if he was top 8, he would be still worthwhile bringing in.

I just cant see Hodge becoming cheap enough for me to get him, so will focus on others.
