I reckon it's standard procedure. He hasn't played 22 games since 2008. Only missed one so far this year. About to turn 33. Playing the Lions, travelling. Not much to gain by taking him. Caddy out too. I wouldn't be surprised to see one or more Cats rested too. Selwood has played every game despite saying during the PS that he didn't think he'd play every game.
