thats why he is at carlton

Difficult given how terrible Daisy was last year - would need a massive score this week against the Suns for most people to consider him..

In DT he got a 20% discount for only playing 5 games - but not in SC. Shame, i think Daisy would be a lot more palatable at $247k than $309k..

Merrett is just everywhere. I'm going to find it near impossible not to bring him in this week!

Looking for Bartels heat map again. Wondering if any trends can be seen from both the first and second game. I may give him another week (see how he does against Carlton) and then look at JJ.

Going to be watching Bartel like a hawk this week. Hopefully just a slow start given his age but if he dishes out another 60 against the lowly Lions he might be going "up" to Laird next week (if I end up grabbing JJ this week, undecided). Bartel's B/E of 126 not severe at all, would be happy with a 90 and another decent score the week after - over to you Jimmy

What is Lairds BE?

Laird's B/E is 79. Without a Gibbo-esque score his price won't jump significantly given his relatively high starting $. If Laird can pump out consistent 90s and above without going TOO large (or small of course), his price will climb slowly and so there's plenty of time to get him -> think Kade last year, from memory his price stayed within a fairly narrow range (except for the one week where he scored over 112 - which was a 149)

So this just came up on my facebook feed, Barlows season heat map which clearly shows he is playing plenty of minutes in the middle.
So has to be just a matter of when he hits some form surely.

Really want Merrett before he goes up in price but I may just suck it up and keep Barlow. That way i dont have to hope that Tippa, Parish and Merrrtt do well every week haha

I'm afraid that map is a bit misleading, doddy.
The rnd.1 and rnd.2 heat maps for the Freo team as a whole:
Freo rnd.1.png ; Freo Rnd.2.png
Playing in the "middle" in rnd.1 was really playing in the Freo fwd line.
According to this week's FFreako he only attended 3 centre bounces last round, none in the 2nd half. And he has spent less time in the middle than any other Docker mid at 50%.

Bloody facebook, cheers for clearing that up Rupert. Just goes to show you can't believe everything on the internet.
Boy how things have changed.;)

Still thinking of holding Barlow though. Freo kicked 100 points on the weekend. They dont noramly do that, will be interesting to see if they put the breaks on and shut down WC scoring and we get a 60-70 scoreline this weekend
