Sorry if already been covered but is Sam Docherty worth the risk off such a significant lay-off?

No discussion on Docherty yet.
I think most are waiting to see how he goes in the pre-season.
He was so good before his in juries that I think a lot will risk him if he looks OK.

I've heard nothing but if he plays in the pre-season he's in my team.

I also note that Dylan Roberton is progressing well. $260k DEF. As long as he can stay upright he could be worth a punt too.

Roberton I'm not so sure of. Yes, he's cheap-ish but the St Kilda back-line will have a completely different look to the last time Roberton played.
I have no real idea who will be best 22.
Only Carlisle and Brown spent any time playing with Roberton. Howard, Wilkie, Coffield and Battle are all talls new to the backline since his last game.
Then for the smalls they have Geary, Webster, Savage, McKenzie, Clark and Paton.
I doubt Brown will get a game but any of the others could.

What structure are ppl going with at the moment? As much as I’d like 5 guns in the midfield it looks like there will be a number of really good rookie options there. I don’t think I’m going Grundy and Gawn either which obviously frees up cash. Thoughts?

Good rookies being
- Rowell 200k
- Stephens 190k
- Picket 123

McHenry will play but question mark on scoring if he plays predominantly as a small forward in a bottom 8 team.
Who are these other good rookie options?
Mcgguiness ? will he play
Hibbered - injured
Bytel - will he play?

DPP Starcevich or Cockatoo might get a run.

Who else are these really good rookies?

Which means that we are likely to see more players with a concussion in one match miss their next game.

At a first glance the mids are the most interesting with Nth ranked 2nd ahead of the WBD ranked 6th and GWS ranked 12th.

In case anyone missed this:
the Saints-Port game has been moved from Sunday May 31 in Shangai to Sunday June 7 at Marvel.
Consequently their bye will now rnd.11. instead of rnd.12.
This makes any Sainter or Port player you wish to start somewhat more attractive as they will play through the byes.
