Many going with a fullfprem/mid price foward line - anyone considering Josh Thomas or MacPherson ?
Lots of injuries to GC hall, Hanley and Gaz gone, 115 in JLT, 247k.
Thomas is a gun and averaged around 94 in JLT. $350K Adams, Pendles playing HB and de goey and wells Injured etc plenty of midfield time for him. Both are around 0.7% ownership...

Hi guys.

Would love people’s thoughts on Bonner down back for Port Adelaide. They aren’t a team I follow too closely but with Pittard going down, do we think it opens the door for Bonner?

Or better giving him a miss with the defensive rookie options? He is currently my D3 (going light on down back).

Cheers.

Port supporter here.

Bonner is a fantastic user of the footy, but I’m not 100% sold on his ability to rack up enough footy to generate a significant amount of cash before Pittard returns.

We have a plethora of players capable of playing that rebounding halfback role - Bonner, Pittard, Hartlett, Houston, Broadbent and even Byrne-Jones and Westhoff spend their share of time there.

That said, if you can afford him in your structure and are committed to upgrading him quickly it could be worth the punt. I’m considering him!

Caught in an awkward spot. Tossing up between having both JOM and Armitage or Cripss and Banfield. Leaning towards first pair as I'm guns n rookies everywhere else. Plus I'm of the belief they can output avg combined 180-210 opposed to 170-200 of Cripps/Banfield... thoughts/opinions? Anyone in similar situation?

Has anyone considered Libba at 434k? Atteneded a butt-load of CBs throughout the JLT, scored decently and could make that 100-150k to be a handy stepping stone.

Thoughts?

I’ve got Robbie fox as my m8 at the moment, if he isn’t named to play will be downgrading to brayshaw from freo.

Also they have stated Prestia won’t be playing round 1 btu have suggested Anthony miles could step up to take his place while h could be an interesting pick if he is a semi long term replacement?

Definitely worth a look. I'm going with Coniglio at a similar price but go with your gut on this one. If he can get back to a 105 avg from that price then it's a win.

I said I wouldn't pick any Bulldogs (besides Naughton).... but Dunkley named in the guts has swayed me to back him. If he plays in the midfield most of the year I'll back him in to be a top 6 forward. Showed in his first year he can find the pill and not afraid to tackle. At sub-$300k, I just had to make room for him.

I still have MacPherson instead. I can still upgrade him to Dunkley but will leave me with no cash.. I usually don't read much into where they are named, but he could be the better big. $50k more though.

I am running : Conigilio, Bonner and Christensen

Christensen as a stepping stone. I think Coniglio will go top 10 mids this year - keeper. Bonner - hoping he will finish top 8 defenders, but likely a stepping stone. Backline looks better with him at D3.

I just don't get the hope with Christensen, has shown nothing. Would you take him over Dunkley?

I've passed on Christensen. He's only good as an inside midfielder and not sure he'll get enough minutes there to make it worthwhile Spent the extra on Dunkley instead

Half forward at Geelong.
Yes but his best footy has always been as an inside midfielder. He's an average forward at best. Played out of position most of his career.
