Yeah, I don't disagree that 60s are startable in the backs but my main point was not to get carried away with hartley's high scores. He's definitely startable able but probably will be up and down depending on the strength of the opposition. Should score 70+ in the first two against GC and MEL...

Actually gone quite heavy in the backs with Boyd, Laird, Bartel, Birchall at D1-D4 and Sheridan D5. Have all of Goldy, Fyfe and Danger too. I have 0 $200k-250k rookies though.

Agree with Matt. I still think Hartley is 60 avg player despite scoring a ton. Next to no pressure in that game, with plenty of easy intercept marks and chip kicks in the backline. M.Brown probably a better scoring option than Hartley as he does more around the ground, but same applies to him...

I'm toying with a structure similar to bat too due to plethora of forward rookie options. Can use all of Cockatoo, McCarthy, Menadue, Kerridge for onfield options with Petracca(M/F), D.Howard and M.Brown(D/F) for backup rookie options. No Wells. 4-1-3 5-1-5 2-0-1 2-0-6

What are everyone's thoughts on Malceski? The cheapest out of all the value premium options (ie: Yeo/Smith/Rich). Historically when he tends to put a season together he does it for 22 games and puts in a premium average. Was restricted heavily by injury last season and having a better preseason...

He's still a watch for me. Historically players take an extra year to hit back to premium levels after a major injury (ie: just look at Barlow a few seasons back). My major concerns though are that in his better years he had an in-form Minson giving him first use of the ball. Even if Minson...

Not sure any of the Crows backs will be good picks. They might take in turns of having good scores which would make it hard for any of them to reach a premium average!

I've got Kelly too, but I've decided to trade him to McKenzie and use funds to grab a midfielder next week.
