    2017 Backline Midpricers

Alright so I know I brought this up earlier in the thread but seriously, Jake Lloyd! Really really tempting, played the last two JLT games. Game 1: 27 Disposals @ 92% DE (in pissing down rain) 95 SC Game 2: 30 disposals @ 93% DE 113 SC Hard to ignore those numbers

    2017 Rookies

James Stewart becomes an interesting one, looked half decent today, if anything he was more dangerous than Daniher. His JS is now good for the first month with Leuenberger pinging his hammy as he will more than likely be required to pinch hit in the Ruck. With the lack of fwd rookies he may have...

    2017 Ruck Cover

Mckernan with Daniher/Stewart pinch hitting I'd say. Outside that we have nothing... There's a young boy Draper on the Rookie list but he is far too raw

    2017 Ruck Cover

Just to throw another cat amongst the pigeons, Hickey has gone apesh*t in the final JLT tonight with no Longer

    2017 Rookies

I think more higher priced rookies are going to have to be looked at to get us through. I'm starting to see the likes of Taranto, Mcarthy, Marchbank, Hoskin Elliott all seem to be popping up in more and more teams

    2017 Midfield Midpricers

I stand corrected 108 average, I always thought his breakout year was his 3rd.

    2017 Midfield Midpricers

I was referring to "once a decade" in regard to how quickly he developed. I can't think of another player in recent history that could average 100+ in their 2nd season, it's very rare and Oliver is at the awkward price where you do probably need him to average at least around 95 to make any sort...

    2017 Ruck Cover

Not gonna lie it's crossed my mind too. Spencer playing with Gawn has me worried

    2017 Midfield Midpricers

Bont is very much the exception, not the rule! You're playing with fire if your picking players in the hope they will play like a "once a decade" player like Bont.

    2017 Forward Midpricers

I already was pretty keen on Will Hoskin Elliot but the news that Jamie Elliott is going to struggle to get up for RD1 makes him slightly more enticing. Blokes loaded with talent but just couldn't get a decent crack at it in that stacked GWS team. With Elliott out I think he is well and truly in...

    Players X. vs Y. vs Z.

I currently have both. All things going to plan that is how I will be going into the season. Roughead I have had since day 1 and don't see him budging at all. Grand plan with Nank is for him to end up F7/R3, he's the perfect coverage guy and he has that nice little round 12 bye! Who knows he...

    2017 Team Structure

I won't be getting him in until he's put 2 games together. Trust me on this one, he's every chance to manage picking up some obscure injury that no AFL player has has done before 5 minutes into his first game. The bloke is cursed

    2017 Forward Primos

Not much Gunston or Lynch talk. I will be getting one of them, both play SC friendly roles, getting a lot of ball up on HF and the wing while also kicking 2 or 3 goals a game and taking contested marks. I'm leaning towards Gunston due to the GC early bye and the return of Roughy will only help...

    2017 Midfield Midpricers

Worst case he completely stuffs his knee R1 and we trade him out. Obviously that's the risk we take with these players returning from LTI's. However worst case if he stays healthy he makes probably at least 200k, a solid M7/8 for the first half of the season and he is a stepping stone to an uber...

    2017 Midfield Midpricers

He probably won't be a POD, but 2 weeks ago he was in about 50% of teams. Now after other midpricers have put their hands up such as JOM and Beams, Swallow's ownership will in turn drop. He hasn't exactly set the world on fire in his 2 games either. Will be interesting if Murphy comes out and...

David Swallow might be a POD by the time R1 rolls around

    2017 POD's

I think this year there are some safer POD's floating around. For example Luke Parker I've seen in very few teams yet he's a player entering the prime of his career with 3 years of solid scoring history behind him. Whether it is because people are preferring to go with JPK or Hanners I'm not...

    2017 Team Structure

3/0/5 5/1/5 2/0/1 3/2/3 At this stage I think I'm going safe option in the Rucks, all the mp options are too risky, Gawn and Grundy seems pretty safe! I've classed Hoskin-Elliott as a mid price, although all will depend on whether or not he is named R1 in which case he is just a place saver.

    2017 Rate My Team

Love the Zerrett pick! Yours is the first team I've seen with him in it! I so badly want to get him in but I'm forever debating whether I am going with my head or heart. I really do feel like he has elevated his game to another level and could go uber premium but Treloar, Selwood and to a...
