@Luke Thompson Please would you mind your language? Some pretty offensive terms in there. Particularly the "c..."

    Forwards 2016

Ditto, Matt. Liked him as a smokey due to SANFL form and last few games in 2015. NAB form just confirms that. Played as a full-time mid. Only real knock is disposal but CP and clearances really good, as is DT/SC ratio. Locked in my team after tonight. Yes, Tigers not good but it is his role that...

Love the guy. Can do anything but still fragile in body.

    Bye Rounds

I check the effect of any of my team changes on the byes but find I am, so far, always OK. I seem to always end up with the least number of players in rnd.15. Perfect.

    Keeper league.

I think we need 8 teams. Less than 8 and think of all the good players sitting waiting to be picked up from the bin. You could cherry-pick your team on a weekly basis. Also need 8 to provide a proper competition.

Very disappointing if it doesn't get up.

    Rookies 2016

Sorry, doddy - no aspersions intended. And agree about Oliver. I appreciate that you're a Dee's supporter and have had some hard times. But I think they are on the rise and you've got lots to look forward to. As for the Doggies. I think their depth is pretty impressive. I'd love to have the...

    Rookies 2016

Remember, it was virtually a Doggies 2nds out there today. Well, almost. They were missing at least 13 first-choice players. So any conclusions pretty suspect.

Happy with all your suggestions, @doddy2731 Hope we get to the 8 teams at least as I really want this thing to work and last.

From rnd.17 on he played mainly as a mid and averaged 77SC. Plus according to the Prospectus: 15th best first possession to clearance rate of top 120 first possession players kick rating third-best when under pressure of top 90 (not clear what 90). I think he can only get better - if he plays...

4 teams in our keeper league, so far. Anyone who has posted here and not joined still interested?

As one of those seriously considering Harwood I can only tell you why I am: In the latter half of 2014 he av. 90.55 SC, rnd,12-22. Last year he only played 2 full games due to injury. In the NAB he got a 95 v the GC. I am not sure how with a DE of 63.6% and only 11 possies. Maybe it was 4...

    Rucks 2016

Nah, he was always in the ruck in 2015. I checked the stat.s to make sure my memory was correct and his HO tell the story: 31,39,44,27,58,,,,

    Rucks 2016

I'd be happy picking either - Martin's experience and reliability offset by Gawn's price and probable improvement. Having said that, although I had Gawn last year and was happy with him I am going with Stef. Why? His scores when sole ruck: 90, 140, 125, 135, 112, 119, 108, 84, 159 = 119 av...

    Defenders 2016

Sorry, Cactus - only one bye this year unless of course you mean the "bye" b/n rnd.23 and the first week of finals. With this week off I imagine that there won't be mass restings a la Freo and Nth last year. But the likes of Bartel will still probably be given games off. The Doggies rested...

And let's hope most people remember THAT dropped mark in the finals and chose not to look too closely at Sheridan. On Laird: he's my D1 at the moment for various reasons. Notice his DE in the NAB: 95.2% from 21poss - 1/21 ineffective; 89.7% from 29poss - 3/29 ineffective. That's class.
  19. Rupert

    Defenders 2016

Ah, but I think Sheridan is different. First, he's a kid and "grew up" in the Lyon system. Second, he appears to be following the same trajectory as Lachie Neale. A few years to get established then a "break-out" year, 2014 for Neale and 2015 for Sheridan, where they get progressively better...

Hope Ross takes Sheridan off at the half. Had him in my team as a mid-price POD from the start and prefer to keep it that way.
