Shaw, Laird, Danger, Shiel, Goldy, Gawn as full premos. Josh Kelly, Hickey as mid-pricers. AMT and Grimley as rookies. So 10 all up although 4 of those are primarily bench cover.
Naismith was the #1 ruck anyway. Sinclair has been average anyway.
In a way it might hurt Naismith. They'll likely bring in Nankervis to play alongside Naismith. The one who's considered the best forward will be the 2nd ruck and the other will be #1 ruck. It's possible they might consider...
I did weeks ago and haven't regretted it for a second. He was probably the pick of the sub-$500k forward options this week. I'm sure people didn't pick him because of his $462k price tag and because he's a key forward. But, that's actually cheaper than he was to start the year and he's in...
Similar position to me. Full premo on field this week. Suckling on the bench to cover McVeigh. Petracca and Crouch on the midfield bench. AMT on the forward bench with Hickey to cover rucks when required.
Only 2 trades left, but feeling pretty good. But then it is only Saturday morning -...
I think it was the price, and there was not much around the same price except for guys like Rance. It allowed me to spend more elsewhere, otherwise it was another $100k+ to go to Docherty instead,
I hate to say it... but I've had a great run with injuries this year. I've made a fairly conscious effort to avoid injury-prone and 30+ guys this year. The exceptions were Fyfe and GAJ and they back-fired. Also McVeigh - still no idea why I picked him up a few weeks ago after telling everyone...
I got the Hoff and Howe when they were close to $400k. They've both had their moments and were worthwhile purchases.
- Hoff has only scored tons this year in games Port have won. You'd think they might come home 3-3 so a 50-50 call. Depends on your thoughts on how Port will go.
- Howe's...
2467 for me this week. Could have been better with Gaff's 128 on the bench and Bont (121) as captain.
Have avoided most of the carnage this week with Laird the only concern. JJ with 65 was the weakest link this week, hopefully he comes good because he's been a dud so far since his comeback.
VC on Buddy is reasonable, he does like to play us.
I'd be hesitant to C Danger... might get tagged by Barlow. I might VC him though.
I'm quite keen on Goldy against Port. Other options I like are Bont against the Suns and Pendles against the Crows. I've almost got too many good options to...
Depends on how you look at Bont. Ignore his form prior to round 7 for a start because he was playing forward prior to that. He's had 2 scores below 112 since then and both times he got 20+ disposals and scored well in AF but just his DE% was lower and he scored poorly in SC.
I'm not keen on...
Ablett -> Pendles. Simple.
Lots of talk about Bont. I brought him in when he was sub-$500k because I thought he was a bargain and he's been awesome. He's the 3rd highest average from round 7 onwards and can't see him slowing down. Hate saying it because he's been my POD, but I'd pick him...
