This might sound a bit counter-intuitive, but I don't think Laird's price is the issue. I think it's more a matter of whether he will finish in the top 6-10 defenders for the year. If he does, then 506k will be money well spent. Especially if he stays fit. Fitness is a big consideration...

The scoring is exactly the same as AFL fantasy. It's very straightforward, mainly because it's purely quantitative. You want guys who find it, kick it and lay tackles (think Luke Hodge, Adam Treloar types). These are worth 4 points each. 2 points for handballs and marks. 8 for a goal. 1 for a FK...

I ended up 28th in RDT last year, after being 7th for a little while there...... would happily join a league. Love that they paid $500 to those guys in spots 3-10 last year. Gotta love that.

Barry, you're probably an honest guy and are probably intending to do the right thing, but it's simply impossible for anyone in here to know. Not saying you're dodge, but it's a bit of a funny look when you're trying to run a cash comp with only 3 or 4 posts next to your name. That's all I'll say.
