Watto captain here too. Steve O'Keefe not named, I've swapped him out for Luke Wright. Looking forward to it getting started!

    KFC - BBL

Interesting how you've used batting all-rounders in your bowling line-up. I especially like Wright and still might try squeeze him in. Dunk is a jet. No idea how my team will go!
  3. TwentyThree

    KFC - BBL

Yeah but I don't think he'll miss - they do have a round 2 bye.

    KFC - BBL

My latest team... Watto (C), KP, Stoinis, Lumb, Maddinson (Willey, Finch). Haddin (Peirson) Hastings, Faulkner, Sandhu, Bird, Abbott (O'Keefe, Paris) All my starting players on doubles. Gotta be careful to ensure I've got enough trades / bench players to have a full team the next week, but I...

3 trades per week available in this format, or two?

    NBL DT

At least Blanchfield fired for you @doddy2731 ! Kickert would've thrown heaps I'd say. I grabbed Garlepp and Thornton for DJ and Mitch Young, so not a bad start.
  7. TwentyThree

    NBL DT

Yeah time for Kay to go, doubles over and with a new, big import. I'll lose DJ too cos of his bye but will probs swing Penney (assuming / hoping he plays) forward and grabbing a guard (Goulding?) and a forward (Kickert?). Keffa made a good point on Brandt - as a C only he's a bit tricky to...
  8. TwentyThree

    KFC - BBL

I think he'll play the first coupla games...tho Perth have a bye then a single, might not be worth it anyway.
  9. TwentyThree

    KFC - BBL

So here's a very raw draft of what my team looks like right now... Bats: Kallis, KP, Watto (I feel dirty), Lumb, Maddinson (Finch, Burns) WK: Haddin (Peirson) Bowlers: Hastings, Faulkner, Sandhu, Bird, Abbott (Rainbird, Paris) Pretty heavily weighted to Sixers (2 doubles in first 4 rounds) &...

I'm in too - 1 more spot to fill!

    Trades & SC 2016

Yup wil be a rookie, but I'm assuming still full-price-ish (for him). What on Earth are North thinking there? Are they trying to break the record for the oldest list in VFL / AFL history?

    KFC - BBL

Hmm, reckon I've seen a different one somewhere, will look into it. Thanks for making us aware that there may be a couple floating about.

Will see what we can do!
  14. TwentyThree

    NBL DT

Solid calls on the trade there, some Melb and NZ guys will be handy thru the byes. I'm hoping to save one, maybe two trades if I can (have saved 3 so far). I've got 9/10 on doubles this week. Kenny my only one I really wanna get rid of now that Martin is back. The great man Keffa was the #1...

    NBL DT

32nd overall and 8th in the race for 5k...made me wanna chase Prather to try to keep up. Decided to skip him and not trade at all, meaning I kept Beal. Suffice to say I'm happy with how that has started!
  16. TwentyThree

    NBL DT

Prather and Norton in for Beal and Majok here...but also considering not trading. Might cause a slight slide this week but I've gotta save 'em somewhere!
  17. TwentyThree

    NBL DT

Conklin has had his contract terminated, per the man himself on Twitter!
  18. TwentyThree

    KFC - BBL

Absolutely! Plenty of guys priced nicely. I actually struggled to get up to the salary cap with my first team, there are so many bargains. Joel Paris from the Scorchers, a big left-arm quick, is a bargain-basement price and a lock for mine. Luke Wright, assuming he still opens the batting this...

    KFC - BBL

Scratch some of that Doddy, looks like there's been multiple changes to scoring / game setup!

    KFC - BBL

Y Yeah the fixture setup means you trade often and weight your team like in NBL DT. Good all-rounders are key as they (obviously) contribute with both bat and ball. Your batsmen want to be openers, or pretty high up in the order, to make sure they get at least the opportunity to score. Bowlers...
