    And the Carnage continues......

That's actually not a bad plan, fingers crossed Steele gets up for you!

I'd take Maynard of the three knowing he isn't sub. On a similar note, worth using final trade on Nic Nat to Martin? Have a feeling he might miss next week too. Or just cop it and save for later?

    Best Mid for final rounds

If you rate Hannebery that highly then go for him, having 2 other swans in your team isn't going to affect his scores. Fwiw I'd rate him ahead of Priddis and Lids, though they are both good options too.

    I'll get on board

Pretty sure he got through ok and ticked the boxes, might stay on the outer while we're playing so well though. Will likely come down to team balance.

You just answered your own question. Forget about POD's, go for the player who you think will score the most points. If you believe that Hannebery will outscore Priddis (and I do) then take him. All 3 on the podcast like Hanners as well.

    How many trades left everyone?

Moving Gaz on leaves me with one, going for overall so just hoping for a lucky run with injuries

Missed games with a stiff back, think he's coming back through the 2's

    Top 6 Defenders (from now)

I reckon Shaw, Hodge, Picken, then daylight and take your pick from about 6 others

Saad is still out this week isn't he? I'd probably just hold off until you really need the cover and worry about it if/when that time comes. I'd expect Hamling to regain his spot in the next couple of weeks, Talia hasn't been in great form and I suspect if we were playing someone with more fire...

I jumped on Zorko after his hot start to last season, and he burnt me bad. Like Doddy's point about playing for finals, I'd go for Lids.

    Best Mid for final rounds

Think I still prefer Priddis or maybe Ward, just throwing another option out there

Worth getting Hodge in for Gaz? Normally don't really like having a dpp player in the mids but his average is right up there with the midfield premiums anyway, and would provide some flexibility for remaining trades.

    I'm thinking Priddis atm

I have Hanners and he's been incredible for me, don't mind the Mundy pick either but beware of Ross giving him a rest. Rocky for value but I wouldn't go for Sloane, has had a very interrupted year and may take a game or two to get back into the swing of things, if he does at all.

Thanks writeoff, needed some sense knocked into me haha

Just used my final two trades to turn Lever into Fields and Smith into Picken, and I'm having a bloody hard time hitting the reverse button. Hear me out: Right now I have Smith on field averaging 65 since his bye and doesn't look like improving. A move to Picken is potentially a 50 ppg increase...

I'd put Birch more in the 80-85 category, potentially 90 at best. I think I still like him more than Eski though, less risk and the Saad correlation with Eski's scores is a good point

    Lever to Hodge?

Going for overall it's a good move, but if you're only looking at league then I agree you should probably hold off based on your upcoming opponents/likelihood of beating them withou trading
