Team update. Post byes, full team, your year so far.....

Thought it might be worth everyone giving an update now that the byes are done and teams are pretty well complete.

How has your year gone so far? Current rank, goals for remainder of the year, biggest coup, biggest regret. Let it all hang out!

My final team



Biggest regret.... Docherty. Not starting him. Has cost me a lot of ranking places and a bomb in cash to bring him in this week.

Started at rd1 ranking of 128k. Have worked my way into 3,500. Very happy about that.

Negotiated byes pretty easily. Had 18 available each week without having to compromise trading strategy.

8 trades left with $100k in bank. Hopefully Witts will become Gawn in next couple off weeks but feeling pretty strong about my team. Very happy with my DPP capabilities and I think I have some reliable bench cover.

Lynch has been pretty ordinary as has Cripps but I think they'll hold their own in the long run.

Rolled the dice on Beams & Swallow and whilst they earned some cash, overall it's cost me trades.

Holding Hanners & Treloar when everyone else was getting off has been worth it. Only one thing worse than sideway trading a premium is having to trade them back in later.

Hoping for a top 1k finish. Leading 6 of 8 leagues, 2nd and 3rd in the other 2.

Now comes the hard part. Sitting on my hands and NOT trading for next 4 weeks.

So my team is finished or more to the point out of trades.

Horrible bench "cover", Yeo in midfield, injured Witherden & Newman at D6/7 fair to say it's a little make shift.

Regrets: Standard 3 trades on Rocky, starting Caddy though did corrective trade to Yeo very early, Hanners & Treloar but really in all just bad luck with those I think, not starting Doc, Tom Lynch.

Highlights: Matt Crouch though shaky early has been amazing for me as positive POD, Not starting Swallow & O'Meara. Pulling my weight in the SCC Patreon league sitting 2nd overall at the moment.

Having 6 different rucks has been fun, Witts, Sandi to start, then Grundy, Goldy, Gawn, Ryder.

In Prelims in 2 most important leagues, sitting 2041 overall (which is comfortably higher than I've ever been this time of the season)

My Pre-season goal was to finish top 1% I'm there now, hopefully I can stay there.

Was climbing in rank all year, peaked at Rank 169 @ R12. Have fallen ever since, now 3517. Not too bad but wish it was higher. Have reasonable cover on all lines but not outstanding

Highlights:
Ranked 169 @ R12. the best rank i have had since i was ranked 9th after R1 in 2011 before Hayes went down with a knee i think. Finished last year at Ranked 49642 so major improvement

Regrets:
GAJ Brought him in R14 and he has only played 3 games since
Greene brought him in R15 and he has only played 3 games since (thankfully not suspended)

I have had 10 scores of over 2200 but only 1 score over 2300. Also only scored under 2000 during the byes
