I know it is a little early to start this thread before the teams have been released, but oh well ...

Hanners into Goldy worked out pretty well last week but I can't repeat the dose because they are playing against each other.

This week I'm thinking Hanners into Pendles despite my Pendles hoo-doo. Or I could get greedy and put the VC onto Goldy. Is that tempting fate too much?

I like it a lot, although Tippett has hit rare form. Maybe Gawn vs Port (no ruckman) in Game 3 gives people a chance to see if Max has returned from his niggles that he is obviously struggling with.

I will have the V on Goldy.
If he has a down game I'm considering rewarding Heath Shaw's recent form with the captaincy. Wouldn't normally put it on a defender but he has been on a tear. As has the rest of his team, really.

If the Giants were at home, I would probably take the risk on Shaw again after he rewarded me pretty well last week, but the Cats will want to redeem themselves after last weeks poor performance so backing in Danger VC to get back to his high scoring ways. If that fails, Priddis can carry the C.

Danger averages something like 84 at Etihad from 23 games. Just sayin.

You might be onto something Steve. Only 3 scores out of last 10 that would be worthy VC/C scores.

2015 Pies 109, Dogs 101, Bombers 157
2014 Saints 87, Dogs 113, Bombers 71
2013 North 123, Dogs 86
2012 Blues 174, North 100,

Parker VC. Scg specialist. Swans to tear North a new one. I won't need a C option. (Fingers crossed)

Despite DWDD (Do What Dino Does) being the best strategy last week, will stick with Parker/Danger combo I think.

VC on heater into C on priddis, if required
Still in 2 minds about which way to go this week. Shaw is tempting me again, but Crows at home will be harder than last week. Still got a feeling about Danger VC despite his poor avg at etihad.

Im surprised I haven't heard much about Pendles as a C option. Wish I had him.

Bloody hard without a perma capt this year.

I never seem to pick the right time to pick Pendles as C. Burn me about 3 times last year and 2 or 3 times the year before as well. Oh well, he's been in great form ... got the C on him to back up Goldy.

I like Hanners as a C option more than a VC option. Posts acceptable scores very reliably. Hardly ever seems to go very big.

That's why i like him as a VC consistent scoring, i need that score posted early to ease the pressure. I haven't put the C on Pendles yet this year but i see that form turning and i think it will continue.
