Lever to Hodge?

I currently have 4 trades and 2K in bank with Jake lever on the ground averaging 66.
I am going for league and are currently sitting 8th one game clear of 9th.

If I trade Hogan down to a rookie it does not effect my on field points, I can then afford to trade Lever to Hodge but will only have 2 trades remaining.

As Hodge is averaging 111 and Lever 66 points on field would improve by 45.

Should I pull the trigger this week or wait?

That's a big ppg differential and definitely a smart play but if your a game inside the 8 I'd personally hold - assuming your draw is ok and likely to get one win out of the next 2?

It's a tough spot, if you use 2 trades now when you may not absolutely need to you could cost yourself during the finals. Hogan and Lever both have low BE's so you wont be priced out of the upgrade in 2 weeks time if you still want to make it

Going for overall it's a good move, but if you're only looking at league then I agree you should probably hold off based on your upcoming opponents/likelihood of beating them withou trading

Thanks for the sound advise.

Just to add more info I play the team in 4th this week who is one game ahead of me and play the team currently in 6th next week who is currently on the same points as me.

I'd do it. Given that you're 8th, you'd want to make sure you make the finals for starters. If you're in the bottom part of the 8 you won't get the double chance so I think it's worth trying to get the best team possible sooner rather than saving trades for later when you may not be able to benefit.
