Last year I went one short on R1 doubles and found myself a bit off the pace from the get go and with this comp you really need to be close to the mark every week.
Last year though we had some really strong players available on the R1 double. This year its SYDT, SYDS and Adelaide on a DGR first up. Russell, Head and Henriques seem obvious but after that it's not clear whether it's better to take doubles for the sake of it or punt on elite talent on a single like Bravo, Bailey, Mitchell Johnson, Marsh, etc. Shane Watson is ruled out and then Maddinson may miss with test duties.
Pollard is also a conumdrum for me. $60K seems a bargain but his bowling isn't strong and he comes in later in the order as a sink or swim hitter making him prone to low scores without the ceiling he used to have. I still have him in my side but not totally sold. Botha is another former fantasy gun who is now priced low but will he produce?

There are definitely a few tough calls this year, I'm with you on Botha.

If i remember correctly there $6k for top league.
As for must have this game hit and miss big time. Russel probably the so called must have with a double to start.

Goodie's Guns is one and the other didn't say if he joined up or not but he could be "jobrangers".
I know both are committed to the game so would be good league players but let me know if I need to squeeze one of them out
