Picken has had a great couple of weeks but his first 3 weeks were ordinary. Any correlation with Wallis being injured?

Depends on all other things, but will $27k kill you? We routinely watch mid-pricers and top-pricers go up and down at this kinda rate ...

I need to lose Goodes too, I'm waiting for the right downgrade.

seems to be, picken seems to be settling quite nicely into the midfield role, previouusly a tagger which could be a worry

I'm looking at Smith in the next week or 2 but that leaves me with yet another round 11 bye player...

Somewhere in time
There is always a risk trading in a player without any previous premium scoring history.
I traded in T Hunt after he scored 117, 64 & 104. He has scored 47 & 49 since and I am now looking to trade him out. That was a wasted trade.
Picken turns 29yo this year, this is his 7th season in the AFL system, and his previous SC averages are all 61-73.
He has only never scored more than two 100+ SC in a season. He may have scored his two scores of 100+ in rounds 4 & 5 of this season.
The WBD do have an easy SoS this year with 11 more games against last years' non-finalists.

Personally I would look at safer options with a better SC scoring history.

Goodes projection is, I think, based on his current average, If he's the sub he's likely to lose the $27,000 but if he plays a full game could lose only a little.
I traded up to McDonald rather than Picken. Costs $50,000 more but more likely to sustain a high average: 22yrs old in 5th season and 8 straight games (inc. NAB) of good scores.

Awesome Avatar/Pic Juddernaut!
Thanks doddy, at least the Messiah saved us from spoon since he arrived. I'm going to see him one last game In the flesh against Richmond in a couple of months hope he's still out there.
May have to find a similar pic of cripps for 2016.

Yeah Cripps looks like he's going to be a player and a half! Great get.

Did you do it grumpy?
Goodes looking the goodes at the moment.
Helps when the team winning and you can run around without an opponent.
Sorry Cranky, called you grumpy.

Slip of the tongue, happens to me all the time.
Once instead of saying to my wife "could you pass the salt please", I actually said "did you plan to slowly squeeze the life out of my soul over all the years we are married or have you just been taking pointers from your mum for these last few"

Sorry mate.

Picken was good again though, can't really see him keeping it up long enough to be worth a trade.

Those that held onto Goodes will feel justified in doing so.
