We had a very similar year Dino!

Ranking : 5337 (dropped over 3000 spots in last 3 weeks)
Best score : 2616 - rd 19
Worst score : 1669 - rd 12
B&f : Goldstein, Dangerfield, Shaw
Best trade in : Hannebery round 13
Worst trades : Buddy, Rocky/Sloane the weeks they got injured. Biggs round 5. What was I thinking!
Best starting pick : Goldy and Shaw.
Worst starting pick : Bellchambers
SCC league : SCC#2. Finished 5th, lost prelim.
Highlight of the year : the ride with SCC#2. So close. So far.

I think I learned more this year than I did in the last few years combined. Writing up my personal summary and review for next year in the coming days. Bigger and better next year for sure.

Yeah a very similar year. Lots of pain and not much to be happy about. Lowest finishing rank for about 5 years which sucks. I also learnt more this year. Lots of mistakes made which hopefully I can rectify next year.

Ranking - 488
Best score - 2648 rd 15
Worst score - 1723 rd 12
B&F - Goldy, Shaw, Danger
Best trade in - Probably Tom Mitchell in rd 7
Worst trade - Touk Miller to Van Berlo in rd 3 still hurts, Brodie Smith in rd 14 caused a lot of headaches, plus who could forget the Rockliff/Ablett/Sloane saga
Best starting pick - The usuals in Goldy and Shaw, and Nic Nat over Bellchambers turned out really well
Worst starting pick - Ryan Griffen
SCC league: 5th in SCC#6, won SCC Vic which was ranked higher, go figure.
Highlight of the year - Finishing top 500 for the first time ever, absolutely stoked.

Ranking: 23949
Best score: 2515 Rd 15
Worst score: 1558 Rd 12
B&F: 1. Goldy 2. Fyfe 3. Danger
Best trade in: Goldy Rd 11
Worst trade ins: McGrath Rd 3 only to be traded out in round 4 after season ending injury
Worst starting pick: Griffen / TBC
SCC League: SCC #7 (14th) & SCC WA (8th) lost elimination final
Some of the lowlights: Poor ruck selection which took 3 trades and 11 rounds to fix Trade INS getting injured: McGrath, Grundy (one of my poor ruck selections), Rockliff, Wines, Sloane, and Ablett. My lack of gumption to follow my instinct with Picken early in the season, then didn’t even get selected at all. The wasted trades of Hamling and Lambert early due to lack of cash generation, only to bring them back in within 8 rounds as downgrades.
Highlight of the year: The end of another disastrous season.
Bring on 2016 for some more carnage.

Ranking - 2600ish (dropped 1900 in 3-4 weeks)
Best score - 2687
B&F - Goldy, Shaw, Danger
Best trade in - Maybe Bartel to Goldy round 2-3 (through dpp in Bellchambers)
Worst trade - Cripps to Lambert round 2 when Cripps was a late out
Best starting pick - Shaw, Higgins, Swan, Fyfe, JPK, Dangerfield
Worst starting pick - Bellchambers, (Brett) Goodes

was a year of almosts... I had a part in the preseason when my starting backline was Shaw, Higgins, Picken, Laird, Oxley, McIntosh, Saad, Brown... Ended up going with Shaw, Higgins, Newnes, Goodes, Lumumba, Oxley, Saad, McIntosh

almost, almost went with the best midpricers in Picken and Laird :( would've looked like a genius (but probably would have shot myself after round 2 when they were scoring 50s)

Ranking : 68
Best score : 2560 - rnd 15 (would have had a 2600 but held nicnat when he was out as i was chasing sc cup and had the win secure that week.
Worst score : 1723 - rd 13
B&f : Goldstein, Dangerfield, Shaw
Best trade in : Picken round 13 and Hannebery round 14
Worst trades : Buddy, Karnezis round 6..., Touk to Van Berlo
Best starting pick : Goldy and Shaw Danger Nicnat
Worst starting pick : Smith, Jed Anderson
Highlight of the year : After having a career high overall rank in round 15 of 79 i fell out of the 100 and was between 150 and 199 from rounds 16 to 21. at 176 in round 21 i went to 120 in round 22 and then leapfrogged to 68 in round 23 to finish the season in the top 100 for the first time and at a new career high mark for overall.

Ranking : 3623
Best score : 2519 - rnd 9 (not even a fully upgraded team - this shows how much I went off track post the byes that a R9 score would be my highest)
Worst score : 1645 - rd 13 final bye round
B&F : Goldstein, Dangerfield, Shaw
Best trade in : Clearly Goldstein R6 as my first upgrade
Worst trades : Buddy R13, Parker over JPK ($100K less too at time) R14
Best starting pick : Shaw, Danger, Fyfe, Nicnat
Worst starting pick : Lumumba
Highlight of the year : None really other than peaking at 2,200 after R12. I had a slow start but was building to a good assault after the byes but then copped injuries to Buddy, Sloane, Wines, Beams, Parker and Fyfe. I had decent bench cover and held onto 3623.

hey! doing this process made me realize I finished higher than I thought. My R23 rank was 4,535 and overall 3623. in my disgust at the whole thing I assumed my round rank was my overall rank. There you go ..
